Well, Patrick, we still could have a sharm-el-sheikh-tel Aviv party. But not yet Beirut, although I am working on it (to be discussed at a later date). Israeli Jews don't travel to Sharm. Israeli Arabs all travel to Sharm-el-Sheikh. Some travel to those little hut-type places right on the beach. I'm a bit older and need "spoiling" when I'm on holiday, so I go to a beautiful place (small but really charming) in Tarabin, where the staff (from Cairo and Luxor) is so attentive and the hotel owner taught me to snorkel. I hope I can go back there soon. And, inshallah, Esra'a, it would be great if you could visit Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, etc. I wish I could cut all the red tape...

It's for descriptive scenes likes this that I like Israel. It's the liberal culture and the loose live and let live atmosphere that makes me really want to go there. Sounds a lot like Beirut. I'm sure Tel Aviv will one day be a premier vacation destination for fun-seeking Arabs. We could have a Sharm el Sheikh-Tel Aviv-Beirut party highway or something. Who knows? By then maybe Alexandria and Cairo will return to their cultured ways.
