Another Great Egyptian passes…

Abdelwahab dies

Mohamed Abdelwahab, an Egyptian international footballer who played for Egypt’s national team and was on the Al Ahly roster (greatest club in Egypt and Africa, named African club of the century) collapsed on the pitch during a training session and died. That’s so terribly sad. It’s just hard to imagine such fit and active individuals succumbing to death, and during a training session no less. It’s another great Egyptian gone in just two days.

I had a deep affection for the current national team since they had been doing so well recently. Sad to see one of them go…

Mohamed Abdelwahab
