Muslim world angry, for the bajillionth time
Muslims deplore Pope speech. Shock and awe.
When can we learn how to accept criticism, laugh at it, and move on? Enough with the violent protests already. The only ones listening are the ones who need more excuses to dislike Islam.
This is what the protest is actually about:
I really don’t think that these people are on the streets because of passion for their religion. Just give them a reason to go insane and they will, some people really do get a kick out of this. Trust me, I know the feeling a little too well.

I love it!!
Too funny! Nice photoshop work!
On a serious note there is a theory that because in most Islamic states protesting against REAL issues (such as corrupt governments, dictatorships, religious freedom, etc..) is forbidden so when you get to release some frustration, you take it… no matter how absurd the protest may be.
In all seriousness, with the firebombing of two Churches in Gaza and all the upheaval, the world wide response is doing far more damage to Islam than the Pope ever could. We still have not forgotten the Nigerian beauty contest or Danish cartoons which killed hundreds. It can make any reasonable person worry about the future of Islam-Kaffir relations.
This is such a true statement.
Muslims, particularly ones in unstable countries, never pay attention to the civil wars and human rights violations that they have to go through as a nation. Why? Lack of awareness. So whenever a protest takes place the goverment says, “OH NO, LOOK WHAT HAPPENED! ISRAEL BOMBED ARABS AGAIN!” or “oh God, someone made fun of ISLAM!” and everyone changes their concerns to that of Israel and Palestine, or Islam vs. the world, not realizing the horrid crimes taking place by their own governments.
Our governments get a huge kick out of this. Hell I don’t blame them, it’s a brilliant tactic used for the sake of social control and their own private gains. It’s just tragic to see how easily people fall for it.
The problem here is that the world needs to distinguish between lunatics and the rest of Muslims.
Remember how much controversy the British bomb plot caused? 24 British Muslims were arrested because of it, and everyone thought, “wow, Islam really is a huge threat.” But you’re talking about 24 Muslims out of the 2 million British Muslim population, in which planet will this equal the majority?
People never apply the “few bad apple” theory when it comes to Islam, they just do it when it comes to bigger things like the American or Israeli army. When their crimes get exposed, it’s just a bunch of crazy guys on speed. Yet never is the same thing said about Islam. I really don’t get it.

Very true and rather sad that this is what we’ve come to.
But on the other hand it was just a tiny bit tactless of the pope to make such comments- could he not guess the outcome?? And there will always be ignorant people who burn effegies rather than make a real difference.
Yeah, for someone with such power it’s completely irresponsible to imply (even through a quote) that another religion is based on violence, especially if he considered it his role to “promote tolerance.”
I’m just more against the violence people use as a way to fight back than hitting hard through other means, like refuting the arguments made in that statement or just saying how tasteless it is for him to say that.
But when you resort to violence – you’re just proving his point, which isn’t really accurate anyways but we tend to give everyone else that impression so I’m honestly not surprised that so many people are ignorant of Islam. It’s frustrating and kind of sad to see them eat what they’re being told without questioning the validity of it all but when such violence repeatedly occurs in the name of Islam how can you blame them?
HAHA!! OMG that’s HILARIOUS!!
