The "Right" Punishment for Theft
A Sudanese home owner returns home to find a young Sudanese girl stealing things from his house. He calls the police and they come to arrest the girl. The girl then gets taken by the police. What happens next? The girl gets a fair trial and she gets a light jail sentence given the fact that she’s probably damn poor and was forced to steal in order to feed herself. Right? No no no. The police officers instead rape her, gang bang her and then let her go. Justice served! What a “great†punishment huh? Now I can’t confirm if this story did happen but I can surely tell you that if it did, I wouldn’t be surprised at all. Sadly such things are quite common in Sudan.
Filthy pigs indeed. Even if they gave her a jail sentence I’d still probably be pissed off. Check her background for God’s sake. Check her criminal record. What if she’s just too poor and can’t feed herself? If this is the 5th time for her to steal then fine, jail the girl but many young thieves in Khartoum steal because they simply need to survive. Did those police officers ever hear of something called Zakah? Isn’t Zakah money supposed to go to girls like her? Oh wait I forgot, the NCP just swallows most of it.

what goes around, comes back around. those police willl get theirs. I seriously doubt theose police or very few live to a ripe old age on a retirement pension surrounded by loving grandchildren. “Grandpa, tell us about what you did when you were a policeman? Did you catch that robber all by yourself? Were you afraid?”
“Grandpa, Grandpa, tell us about Grandma. What did she look like? What did you and grandma like to do together on Saturday nights?
Grandpa tell me how mother got those broken ribs and arm again? When I grow up I want to be just like you!”
I’m sure you’re right, EdoRiver, but that won’t exactly discourage others from doing the same, will it? Not like, say, being arrested, publicly tried, and hung by the neck until dead.
