Israel, You Are The Reason
November 22nd, 2006It seems to be a military thing to show their physical preparedness by kicking vases and doing Karate, while no one really uses these old ways of killing and amputating people any more. Any way, there was a 12,000-member Basij-of-workplace meeting in Tehran. Although, Basij is a volunteer group with no connection to the state, these 12,000 men and women were allowed to skip a few hours from their jobs. So, they marched and chanted and also broke vases.
If you look at this scene in slow mode you actually find something really amazing.
The red text on the vase reads “Israel”. It seems that establishment of Israel has been a blessing to the Islamic Republic, more than to the Jews.
Actually, this was not the only thing I found interesting in this event. The show helped me realize that there are ultra Islamists who wear huge makeup,
and as always, kids are more than welcome.

At the school I went to, we had an Israeli flag at the end of each goal. The sick thing is that the coaches approved. It’s sad that kids start being exposed to this nonsense at such a young age, because it makes it harder to change their minds afterwards. They grow a passion for hatred. They think a military solution is the only kind.
And that exactly what the Islamic Republic wants.

One thing I have been impressed with learning here at this site, is the fanatic attention that the Iranian government gives to Israel. I agree with your comments about the children. Usually they never question what they are taught. Never learn to to seek the truth for themselves. As a teacher I cannot be strong enough in my denunciation of these kinds of practices. I honestly try to be unbiased, and critical of Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians in Gaza (and elsewhere)…but in the Orthodox community there are equally fanatical Jews…..here at Mideast.com I see this Iranian brainwashing…two distant “relatives” who cannot stand one another.
Do you remember a Greek myth about a hunter and his hounds, he accidentally saw Diana bathing, so she turned him into a stag and his own hounds turned on him, chased him, caught him and tore him to pieces? Yes and no. It depends on what you call the Iranian army. There is the classical army which is very much like it companions in other countries. Then, there is Sepah and it’s militia, Basij, which do like such methods.

Arash, I meant that prior to the revolution, Israel and Iran had a good relationship. Only after the republic became Islamic did Israel become “little Satan”.
It’s a little ironic that Iran would fight so hard for the Palestinians considering how many Iranian Arabs have been kicked out of their oil-rich property and live in squalor just this past year.
The image of starving Persians, who receive no aid and live in tents on earthquake zones holding up signs supporting Palestinians makes me want to puke in terror.
Edo River, my Iranian girlfriend would have to go to the “death to Israel” marches and walk on the Israeli flag to get into school. But she swears that almost everyone rejected the daily propaganda.
I believe her. I really think that the vast majority of Persians care about jobs and inflation, not Palestine.

I wonder how widely known it is that Israel gives the Palestinians more monetary help than the U.N. does.
Iranians leader obviously hasn’t realised that if he did nuke Israel he would also kill many Muslims with the blast and fall out – so let him bluster, Israel has nukes too, and the beauty of it is is that Arab Capital cities are further away from Israel – so they will be able to kill many more Muslims.

Russell, clearly you are out of touch with reality. Islam simply can’t face something such as “genocide” because it is a belief, not a culture. Muslims are everywhere, and people all over the world are converting to Islam. Unfortunately for you, Islam will always exist, and the only way to live with it is to tolerate it. Target the extremists, don’t target the millions of other innocent Muslims who only wish to see peace within their regions, just like you do.
Secondly, even IF Israel gives monetary support to Palestine, the U.S gives far more monetary and military support to Israel than Palestine could ever imagine. We’re talking about billions of dollars worth of ammunition, and that doesn’t include all the ‘free’ arms. The U.S is known for exporting two main things: media and ammunition. Israel takes complete advantage of both.
That’s sort of, well, inhumane to say the least. You’re a hateful person if you meant the “beauty of it” part, as if you would actually want such a horrible thing to happen. Please try to be a little more understanding for your own sake, it’s never healthy to hold this kind of hatred towards over a billion people. With these types of emotions peace can never be achieved.
America does so because she knows that Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East – all the other countries in and around the Middle East are either still using the War Lord or Feudal System.
I am not an idiot, as there is no such thing as a stupid Jew. All the problems stem from the fact that the Palestinians are trouble makers, which is why they have been kicked out of all the other Arab countries.
Israel is 22,000 KM2. You add all the Arab countries together, it works out to mean that the Arab countries have something like 3 and a half million more land, so why can’t they just work out a deal with Israel.
You people need to realise that Israel isn’t the big bully the Media and the Islamic world make them out to be.
When Israel came back into existance, after being abolished by the Romans in 835 AD, all we have had to put up with is Moslem lies and propergander. It was the Imams and Muftis who told the Palestinians to leave their homes. They also told them that when they have killed all the Jews, and pushed them into the sea, they’ll be able to own the land of Israel again.
Israel, on the other hand, has always tried its hardest to bring peace and to be generous to the Arabs.
When it declared its independance, it offered ALL Palestinians FULL RIGHTS to be Israeli citizens, including the RIGHTS to work and vote. The majority of them turned Israel down.
With regards to the “MIDDLE EAST PEACE” program. In the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, Israel offered Arafat 95% of his demands, but because we won’t let the Arabs have Jerusalem he wouldn’t accept the deal – so it is the Palestinian leaders and the other Arab countries that won’t let peace take hold and flourish.
And yes I am a hateful person, because of the way we Jews are always portrayed as bastards and evil people. You lot don’t realise it, but the young Muslims here in the UK are being taught all the old crud about how evil Jews are, how we burn the Quran etc etc.
I have been tolerant for as long as I can, but after the 2006 conflict between Israel and Lebanon, I just can’t do this anymore.
The Muslims over there are supposed to hate the West. So when you see reports from Lebanon, all very emotional, showing Mickey Mouse toys that somehow escaped the bombings of a building, doesn’t that make you wonder how accurate the report is.
The Media loves showing the bombed out buildings, and bangs on about the Lebanese children that Israel has killed, but it is always very factual when it comes to Israeli dead. Also, they keep referring to Israeli’s as Jews, when quite a lot of them aren’t Jewish.
You never hear about the Israeli children who have been shot, stabbed, kidnapped and killed etc.
You also never hear about the good things that Israel does. Israel is developing medicinal cures for Alzheimers disease for instance. An Israeli charity and Israeli doctors recently did a very complex bit of surgery on some Chinese woman.
You don’t hear about this stuff, because the “Jewish” owned Media who is so anti-Israeli and Anti-Semitic doesn’t EVER mention it.
And for those who can’t grasp sarcasm, my little posting was highly sarcastic.
Of course I wouldn’t want to see people nuked on purpose. What I meant was that this is probably what is going to happen.
If you lot were Jewish, and not Christians or other, then you would better understand the nest of lies that we Jews have had to put up with from the rest of the world for at least the last 3000 years. And Islam is a culture. It ceased to be a belief when the Muslims started moving to places like the UK. Muslims see themselves as Muslims first, then as English, French etc… Whereas I see myself as English first, then as a Jew.
Islam is not suited to todays way of life. They may be constantly growing, but I wonder how much of it is them out breeding us rather than getting converts. Judaism is the hardest religion to convert to, because we want to make sure the person converting has the determination to stick to the teachings etc. Islam will take anyone, anwhere, anytime.
And Israel will use nukes if it is attacked using WMD’s by some rogue idiot state like Iran. Israel is the only country on this planet that gets slammed by the world for defending itself.
How would you feel if the 7/7 bombings we had occured virtually EVERY SINGLE DAY? You would also want to defend yourself, so you would take arms and fight back, but Israel isn’t allowed to.
There are fundamental differences to the way Israel and Hezbollah / Hamas or even normal Arabs fight. They don’t wear uniforms, so they will kill an Israeli, run round the corner and be a “bystander” again. They hide their weapons in Mosques, schools, hospitals, parks and in residential areas.
Israel doesn’t.
They use the Media to make sightbytes of them fighting. I have evidence from the 60 minute news program from America that shows how much of what you see on the news of Palestinians fighting and dying is complete BS.
But people aren’t interested in that, because it might show that the Arabs aren’t so peace loving and tolerant, and it might show people that they aren’t the underdogs chafing at the restraints put on them by the big bad Israel.
I have friends, neighbours and work collegues who are Muslim, and they know I am Jewish. We get along really well. You want to know why? Because they have the intelligence and understanding to realise that it is certain factions of Islam who are at fault, and that they belief that Israel has a right to exist as much as their own countries. My boss comes from Pakistan, and he comes from one of the regions that is virulently Snti-Semitic and Israeli. He is the best boss I have ever had, and I will sorly miss him if he leaves the company I work for.
So you see, I am as tolerant as I can be in this age of the Anti-Israeli Anti-Semitic world.
It is always easier to blame us Jews then it is to realise that many failings come from other religions. For example, if the Christian Church had allowed us to do autopsies on dead humans, we would probably be about 200 – 400 years more advanced in medicine, but they didn’t so we aren’t. I’m not saying that this was right or wrong, although I know which side of that I would pick, but I’m just using it to show people that I am not stupid, and that mistakes are made by everyone.
America has a history of supporting dictators in the Middle East, financially and otherwise.

Palestinians are everywhere throughout the Arab world. Ever been to Jordan? Huge Palestinian population. A lot of university professors in the Arab world are Palestinian.

Let’s face it: When you have a large and increasing population consisting of millions, when you have the 4th biggest military in the entire world, when you have monopoly over basic resources like water, and when you have the help of powerful American public relations and military facilities – a defenseless nation is hardly a threat to your existence. That’s a weak argument. Suicide bombing, as unjustifiable and awful as it really is, is a response to gross human rights violations. Don’t tell me these people actually WANT to send their kids to kill a bunch of innocent people. Something horrific must have happened to result in such a reaction. Violence is seen here as a last resort, not as the only option.

I have been reading this blog for the last 20 minutes, and I have read some very interesting comments. I wonder if there are any Palestinian who are reading this blog, or who commented about the blog?
Anywho, I’d like to bring a point of view from my side, a Jew from Israel.
We have had a really tough history, migrating all around europe, beeing persecuted by our faith. If it wasn’t spaniards, it was chrisitians, and if it wasn’t christianity it was the the Nazi regime. And now after we have returned to the only place we can live in peace, we are beeing persecuted by the whole arab nation.
in 1948 when the UN offerd to divide the land of “palestine” to two nations, us Israeli’s agreed, foras the Paletinians did not. we have had to defend this land we recieved rightfully every decade since we declared independince.
We still need to protect ourselves now, because there is some maniac in Iran, who also by chance is it’s leader, who says “Israel will be destroyed” and is working on a nuclear bomb with no one trying to stop him.
I am soldier in Israel, and none of us likes to shoot inoccent people. But even now when both sides declare a “ceise fire” we are still recievng kassam bombardment from their side.
My friends and I often find ouselves trying to find a solution to the middleeast problem, but the truth is, that we cant.
We don’t want to control a 3 million people nation – it costs a great deal of money, and we don’t want that land.
like one said here in this blog we offered the palastinians 95% of all ocupied land, and that deal failed, because they dony want quiet. Im not talking about all palastinians, Im talking about their leaders and their leades leaders(Syria, Iran). Im not saying the problem is about culture or religion. But it is a fact the their is no real Islamic Arab democracy and maybe there shouldn’t be, because the faith is so strict and out of date the people often loose there own thinking on the way.
I wish there could be peace between Israel and the arab nations, but until the a latter acknowledges that we’re here and we’re here to stay, nothing will change.
In conculsion, the solution is tolerence and realism. No one can get the whole pie, us Israeli’s understand that – and that is why we are willing to give back most of out tiny land, but the other side should understand that they also wont get everything.
