Hello, Doroud, Salam and Shalam.

Author: Rayis (Iran & UK) - December 10, 2006

Posting from the rainy town of London, I would like to introduce my self to the readers of Mideast Youth, and the great team of bloggers here.

I found this website not long ago and the idea really fascinated me. Being part of a team of fellow Middle Eastern bloggers to post about what is really going on in the region from different points of view to show an appreciation of what doesn’t always come to mind when thinking of Middle east - moderate views and interfaith understanding.

What I am personally interested in is looking at how different people in the Middle East think and how it is influenced, whatever their view. This community is a great example of how understanding Jews, Arabs, Persians and others in the region can be of each other - after all, we are all hungry for peace and stability.

Thanks to Esra for inviting me and as for the rest of you, like we Iranis say it back at home, Doroud bar shoma!

Rayis
