Spiritual Child Abuse
Fars has published pictures from “Hossain’s toddlers conference [implicitly means toddlers who are ready to fight for Hossain till 'martyrdom']“. Imam Hossain is the third Shia Imam, killed in Karbala, more than 1300 years ago these days. Since then, he has been the source of inspiration for Shias toward’s “martyrdom”. With all respect to all fellow Shias, I find this event, and tons of others similar to it, embarrassing and an obvious example of child abuse. Give me one reason why this is different from child molestation.

The story gives detailed description of how Hossain and most of his family members were killed. His youngest son, Ali Asghar, is told to have been six months old when he was killed by an arrow in his throat. While some historians find these details doubtful, the mainstream Shia doctrine is essentially based on these dramatized scenes.

They may be sick, but they’re also really smart. They know that targeting the youth is the most important thing if you want to maintain your ideologies. They know that the future lies in the hands of these young kids who use their passion and talents for all the wrong reasons.

I have often worked in area of child sexual abuse, both with perpetrators and with victims. To me…this is worse and I believe the ultimate psychological outcomes can be worse and least potentially.
Fighting for Hossain…what might that mean in today’s time? Fighting non-Muslims, Jews, Sunni’s, Bahai’s? Does it just take on a convenient meaning when somebody wants to exploit their brainwashed minds.
In Judaism…some teach the ultimate sin is “chilul haShem”…it is kind of like doing evil in God’s name,but under the guise of doing God’s will…I would put that in my top 5 at least. This activity seems to fall into that realm.
Folks have abused the weak under many pretexts; nationalism, racism, romanticism, capitalism, communism…no shortage of isms. But when you manipulate people’s religious beliefs to do something evil…when you con them into committing horrific sin in God’s name…well…hell reminds a bit of the Children’s Crusade around what…the 1100′s or something?

Because of something they might do wrong? becuase they might use their talents for the wrong reasons? You don’t actually know how a child is going to be until they have reached adulthood. Don’t kill them for something they might do.
I understand your religous beliefs but still. Do you really have to do this? Can you at least explain very clearly and in detail as to why this is acceptable to you?
Why do you belive that sacraficing a child is right? What have they done to hurt you? Why do you belive that they will cause bad? Did you cause bad when you were that age? I pity those who feel this is nessary. But i pity the mothers more. Imagine having to watch your child die. How can you do this?

These people have some messed up ideas on recreational activities for their children. Kinda makes you wonder what life would be like to live there as a child. Scary…
