Google Earth vs. The "Enemy"

So you thought only Iraqi insurgents know how to use Google Earth? “With me” writes,
Tonight, channel one [of the state-run television] asked people about their participation in tomorrow’s rally [for the anniversary of regime's establishment]. The interesting part was that they asked people where they wanted to begin the rally. Then, the point was shown in Google Earth and they showed the respective route toward’s Freedom Sq. [the gathering point]. Obviously, they were not using the free version of Google Earth, because the picture was very detailed [the blogger is probably making a mistake. The free version of Google Earth now shows Tehran with the same details it shows in where I am located]. [I call this] using the enemy’s tool against them!

lucky you. I was born in Armurchee, and the satellite image was 2 years old and from a verrrrrrrrrry high altitude. Looks like a collection of dark microorganisms on a piece of lettuce.
Well – you can see my house in google earth very clearly – but I don’t think it’s a goal worth for any supposed terrorist enemy to throw a bomb on it & just to make sure – I won’t give my adress out openly..
(See here:
- No I won’t anyone give the chance to spy me out by telling that I live in Pfeffermühlenstr. 3, in Oberunterhausen or some place like that..

EdoRiver,
The satellite images show grass where my office is and I know the building has been there for over five years!
Heimo,
I am coming for you!
Hi Arash
Free version of Google Earth never shows Tehran in such details . It’s probably Google Earth Plus or Pro
Mohsen,
Check it again. I found my house in Karaj in full detail.
So details in free version have been increased since the time I checked it
Mohsen,
Anyway, thanks for your post!
You’re welcome !
