Podcast – Turkey conference and interview with Afghan youth activist
This podcast is a follow-up of my previous entry on my experience in the conference held by the Association for Liberal Thinking, an NGO in Turkey. I recorded this podcast with my friend Iman, and towards the end I feature a short interview with an Afghan activist. Enjoy.
Our next podcast will feature recordings I took from discussions in the actual conference room. They will be very interesting, and coming from a diverse group of Middle Eastern professors, activists, economists, doctors, and young students.

You know, the media brainwashes people in putting stereotyping thoughts into people’s minds, for example, I have never thought about meeting an Afghani and talking to him, because the media and everything around me put the idea that Afghani people are so illiterate, and are like… out of this world, but when you meet someone all of your ideas change! And that happened with me more than once, not with Afghanis, but with other cultures.
Anyway, i really loved this podcast, GREAT JOB!!
Thanks Josef! I’m glad to know that at least one person listened to this.
