Three flowers

This was shot at the matam in Muharram. These three little beauties approached me with the hope of getting photographed. At first they talked, and then they expressed their fascination with my camera. I knew I had to photograph them.

They were such free souls. Photographing them was a great delight.

I think this photograph shows each one of them in her own little environment – just the perfect way I imagined them in my mind.
