A weathy cause! It amazes me that in Islam itself it’s categorically stated “Muslims, don’t sub-divide yourselves”. And yet this sub-division is visible and is amplified by media willfully. I think most of us have read how western powers used (or still use) “divide and rule” concept. Perhaps, sub-division of muslims in different groupings and media’s promotion is part of the story. How long will it take muslims to realise this and unify under one banner “just muslims”?
Jimmy, I think it’s because many Muslims still don’t fully realize how much damage these divisions are causing. The Just Bahraini campaign is doing a great job trying to unify these divisions within Bahrain, and hopefully just as many campaigns will start throughout the region.
