Islamic Extremism
Does such a thing exist ?
In a busy bazaar, road was blocked by several bearded men by putting up cloth sheets across the road. Inside, they spread out a carpet, setup a loud speaker and starting signing hymns in praise of Prophet Muhammad. A person, irritated by the road blockage goes out to them and asks them about what they were doing. They promptly replied that they were celebrating the month of the Prophet’s birth. This person asked them if they know of any occasion when Prophet raised his voice other than Azaan (call for prayers); to which they of course replied in negative.
Then this person reminded them of an incident of the Prophet’s life where he used to walk down a path everyday and a lady would sprinkle thorns on the pathway. He would clear the path everyday and used to move on. One day, there were no thorns. The prophet goes inside that lady’s house to make sure she is safe and sound. Lady was inspired by his action of sympathy and love; as she was actually ill that day.
After narrating this incident, this person asked these men whether blockage of road was part of the prophet’s teachings or taking care of your neighborhood was? Whether this is what Islam is?
In reply, they said. This is exactly was Islam is. Stop all businesses, block everything and just elevate the name of the Prophet.

Yes, good story about this old woman & the prophet. However, the prophet also ordered the killing of poetess Asma bte Marwan, a mother of five children, just because she wrote a poem condemning the barbaric acts at the battle of Badr whereby the Muhammad’s army killed so many of their own kinsmen of Mecca. Of course, this is only the tip of the iceberg of the prophet’s atrocities…
BTW folks, this story about the prophet seems to be false. No authentic Islamic literatures, namely haiths and original biographies of the prophet have no mention of these story. Here is what Islam expert, Abul Kasem, has to say about this story:
“This is just a false story concocted by the Islamists.
In fact, Ali invented this story.
There is no such hadis, or any Islamic literature on this. It is akin to the hadis of ‘go to China’ for knowledge. The China hadis also non-existent.
My challenge: Let any Islamists prove this to be an a genuine story authentic, Islamic source, including Sirah of ibn Ishaq/Tabari/ibn Sa’d or any Sahih Hadis.
Please do not accept any suspect and popular hadis without proof.
This story has no references.”
Who the hell is this Abul Kasem? What makes him an “Islam expert”? You want to give me a credible link/reference to backup your claims?
Too bad you won’t find any Islamists in here since they are Muslims.
The website you are linking is filled with hate. Hate toward all Muslims.
What does your initial post have to do with the original post? Stay on topic.
Those who speak for Islam are Islamists. Consequently, a Muslim is an Islamist too. If no Islamist here, let the Muslims show the reference. Even the author did not add the reference.
This is a false accusation. Our site only talks about truth of Islam; not hate. I challenge you to show one single article that spreads hate, not the truth.
Having said that this site is spreading falsehood. This article itself is a false propaganda to mislead people.
MA Khan, the term Islamist recently has been modified. It is more associated with radical Islam rather than “Muslims.” This is why when others say Islamists, they do not mean Muslims, they essentially mean radical Muslims who, for the most part, aren’t representative of the actual faith. They are really impure, and tend to be political Islamists rather than just Muslims.
Secondly how is this site spreading falsehood? Umar is writing the article from his own perspective, no one has the right to call it falsehood especially if you lead a website that does nothing but provoke Muslims further. There are many ways to approach Muslims about their faith – your website is not one of them. You have to reason with people you disagree with, not accuse or offend them. That’s the only way your message can be accepted. People don’t like to be threatened and insulted, they like to be reasoned with. And most critics of Islam do not succeed because of this, they only cause even more trouble by giving Muslims a reason to react.
Jina has a point. A google scholar search on Abul Kasem reveals that academics do not refer to his articles which should call into question his authority.
MA Khan > You could surely question the authenticity of the story told by this person to the mob. However, if you question the benevolence of the Prophet Muhammad or for any Prophet for that matter, then I am afraid your knowledge of religions is not enough.
Well Umar,
I have read prophet’s biography by Ibn Ishaq (Published from Karachi) and his life-story by At-Tabari. I have a good deal of knowledges in the Sahi hadiths (al-Bukhari). That may not be good enough to have sufficient knowledge about the prophet, but the careful and open-minded reading of these two books clearly show him to be nothing but a power hungry terrorist who made God a partner in achieving his ambition.
I hope you have enough knowledge about the prophet to question other.
MA Khan, you still didn’t give me evidence to backup your claims. Prove it before going further with your crap.
MA Khan, I have heard the story several times. It is true. Sadly, though I have no proof.
What evidence do you have to back up your comment of it not being so?
You say “In fact, Ali invented this story.”
How do you know that? You refer to Imam Ali as if he is some random guy you met on the street. Do you merely dislike him and just wanted to invent a sentence that says he invented it? (hah)
MA Khan, a very limited amount of sources, and you consider yourself an expert. Sigh. You sound like Robert Spencer, except not quite good at covering up your manipulative viewpoints and bitter conclusions that are baseless in every sense of the word.
Less talking, more evidence. We’re waiting.
This guy is a joke, not every story is written in paper. This story might just be one of those stories.
MA Khan, your propaganda might work well on uneducated KKK members, but not on those who actually know what you are talking about. Using a random name out of your arse to validate your claim is is too silly.
The books you claim to have read, are they in English or some other language, because there is a huge implication if it was written in English since from what I know Ibn Ishaq’s work that was translated in English is opinions of the author with quotes from the Ibn Ishaq’s writing.
MA Khan > If you really want to read the well acclaimed biography of Muhammad. Read “Muhammad by Martin Lings”.
Are you still arguing with him ?
Let’s talk about the original subject here …
This kind of behavior is common within the islamists communities/groups. They always do things that are in total contradiction with the islam precepts, are encouraging violence and hate, reject people who are different and disrespect them, and spend their time doing silly useless things and calling it “serving God”. This story is a little example, and I’m sure everyone here has experienced similar situations. This is a proof of their stupid conception of religion. It’s obvious! BUT they keep talking about religion as if they were the best muslims among us, and a lot of people respect them and follow their ideas and recommandations. Have they lost their mind or is stupidity just going into “fashion” ???
What you said here is true. But how can such things be intercepted ? In your mind, what’s the best way to deal with such factors ?
The things must be intercepted from the root. I mean, for me, it’s somehow related to cultural level, not diplomas and stuff like that, but it’s about “knowledge” be it religious, social, political, etc. that allows us to see the things from a different perspective, to see the problems in all their dimensions. Try to understand why someone like you is aware of these stupid influences when somebody else will respect these guys. What’s the difference?
