TV show on the persecution of Iran’s Baha’is

April 9th, 2007Esra'a (Bahrain)

While inserting today’s feeds on our Interfaith Blogger Network, I came across this link. And I think it’s important that I share it with you all. There is a bias on here, but try to focus on the facts and not the tone of the program itself. The bias is rather obvious, the Muslims will notice it right away. According to the video’s description, it’s from 1983.

Please watch it! It’s very interesting and raises points that not many people in the region know about.

  1. I just came across this link while trying to do more research -

Islam’s Brutalization of Bahai’s in Iran

Remember, that Kareem is also suffering in prison “in the name of Islam.” Until when shall we stay silent over these injustices?

  2. One of the reasons I am busy is that I have volunteered to help Bahai students in Iran.
Iran, and Iraq, and Israel are our spiritual homes on this level of existence. The earth of Iran, the garden of Ris wan in Baghdad, and the mountain of Mt. Carmel are very very precious to us. The blood of Iranians shares the qualities of the blood of the Prophet (the latest one, ;-) The city of Tehran, Shiraz and so on, all share in the history of the Bahai community. Google “Mona and the children”, and see about her as well.
THe most fanatical Shiite mullah shares the biological and social link to Baha’u'llah and the Bab. It is very interesting, amusing, sad. Probably Rumi would have something beautiful to say about the relationship between the Beloved and the lover, who is trying to kill the Beloved, all for his love. all for his love.
What is “our” destiny? I mean mankind’s.
