Let me tell you some thing, some of the police women many not even believe in veil, but this is a way to control the masses, as if, it is makes them confident ( the authorities i mean) that their rules are taken seriously and they haven&#039;t lost the reins control.</description>

		<description>disgusting...how they enforce their idea on other ppl...and hejab was for modesty...that old woman is covering her hand with glove...ooooo...look at the fingers...i am gonna sin...what the hell...i know a lot of girls wearing shorts and short sleeves and are very modest...modesty is not in what u wear...but its in attitude.</description>

		<description>I was just reading a column by a UK journalist in Iran, who was commenting on how fashion concious the women of North Teheran were, despite the clothing restrictions. He described them as &quot;as chic as any Parisian women, despite the restrictions&quot;.

He also mentioned that the &quot;annual purge&quot; was more for show than effect, and once over, head scarves got pushed further back on the heads again.</description>
