Yoni responds to his ban from this site; chooses to threaten us
This is a slap in the face to all who defended Yoni when we found out about his true rotten self before the rest of you. Some of you complained (cluelessly, I might add) and whined that he needs to stay because his removal would make this site biased against Israelis. Sick of such complaints, Jina and I decided to keep him. But after we looked him up and saw that he was behind proxies and was also refusing to answer our e-mails, for the sake of security we had no choice but to remove him.
You didn’t see a pattern in his posts? Well, we did. You didn’t see the propaganda in his posts? Well, we did. Despite that we left the decision up to YOU, and you decided to let him stay. We supported your input in this. But after the evidence mounted, and we found out how extremely suspicious he is, we finally took action.
His style of posts are not suspicious enough for you? How about the fact that each post is listed under an entirely different and new IP, and that his e-mail is inactive? (See here, plus comments)
The complaints recieved concerning his suspicious articles (and proxy hiding) proved to be extremely valid. For those who jumped to his support: You were wrong. Next time, think twice before jumping to your lazy conclusions claiming that the admins of this site are biased or anti-Israel. This is a question of security, not free speech. And security in this website is extremely important. You need to trust us when making these types of decisions and truly understand why we are doing it. Your delay in understanding this simple concept and your false accusations and attacks on us is what may endanger others in the future, in terms of personal information and security issues. Let us all take this as a lesson to learn from.
For somebody who really pretended to care about “freedom” and “democracy” in the Middle East, Yoni really shows how much
he cares about it by threatening to harm me and my family with regards to the authorities.

Absolutely a nutcase. And you have every right to be concerned about his intentions. Although I’m not convinced of his ability to much harm. In any event, it might pay to reach out to the administrators of myspace etc…and let them know that someone may target you. They may be amenable to pulling any content that is intended to do harm since he would be infringing on your privacy. And they don’t want to be liable for that. Just a thought.
But if I had to bet, I’d say he’ll disappear or not get much further that targetting this site out of boredom/malice. Of course, that’s easy for me to say given that he’s not focusing on me and also where I live.

I also noticed that he said “habiti,” TWICE! Yoni you idiot, it’s “habibti.” Now I see the suspicion in his e-mail being hosted at maktoob.com, obviously he speaks no Arabic! For someone representing both Israel and the UK, his English is also poor. Very strange indeed.

Hmm- on these spiteful revenge letters it seems that sees Joni seems to be a really strange stalker – but I feel it deeply wrong to connect him to Israel – you find those guys in every country in the world – those weird attackers are not messengers to their country, than just an exceptions – exceptions you should deeply fight – I am German & sometimes I see weird stuff written by other Germans in any comments or message boards, some even spreading old rotten Nazi stuff – here they are only a small minority & I have nothing in common with them & fight them deeply – just like a Djihadist is probably not the supported messenger of this ‘trying to be sound’ blog site, just like that this Yoni is for sure not a legitimately messenger of Israel – all my Israelian friends show me quite another attitude – so good bye Yoni – you’r just a fake & I doubt your origin
what really infuriated me in the excerpts of those mails was this sentence:

Guys, Esra’a made no connection between this miserable creature and Israel. I’m sure all she showed us was an emphasis on the fact that banning him had nothing to do with the fact that he came from there (if he really is from there anyway). And I don’t blame her for having such an angry tone here because there are numerous people who supported him being here without proper reason, otherwise I doubt she’d write this entry. If I had a guy as suspicious as this in my site, I’d ban him in a second without thinking because if he’s trying so hard to stay hidden, then it usually means he’s up to something… 93+ proxies isn’t a coincidence.

Hi Esra’a … take heart that freaks like Yoni are NEVER successful … the threat is bigger than the bite. They resort to these ridiculous threats because they are mentl weaklings and always fail. Take it for what it is, a loser just continuing to lose.
When I was thrown off a site once because the other members said I was “too Moderate” and I was “too nice to Israel” the best thing I did was just move someplace else and post my views, bringing my readership with.
Obviously, Yoni doesn’t have a readership because if he did, he would worry more about preserving a following and strengthening himself, not wallowing in this kha—a that he has built around himself AND I MIGHT ADD the views that he tried to promote.
The people who should be most angry with Yoni are the supporters of Israel because this guy is presenting himself as if he represents Israelis. I still believe most Israelis are not the hateful fanatics that Yoni (and hate posters in Talkbacks at other sites like YnetNews) make themselves out to be. But maybe we should hear a little moderation and self criticism from Israel’s supporters. It would be nice if Israel’s supporters — in my opinion — started standing up and focusing on the things that must be changed in Israeli society to make it a better place too.

i have to admit i am happy he got the boot. i found his israeli independence day posts to be in pretty bad taste, considering what israeli independence means for palestinians. i am all for balanced discussion, but i am also for honest critique and reflection on the present situation.

Drima, I suggest you definitely reconsider posting anything personal. At least for now. I try as much as possible not to reveal any “insider” information because the world is practically over populated with crazy, ill-intentioned stalkers whose aim would always be to destroy whatever you stand for. The internet, while a great tool, is certainly not safe. Just be careful, and know that should anything happen, this entire community is by your side.

PS: I lost track of his IPs now, he completely disappeared from the net or the proxy servers he used whipped all the logs and changed their IPs.
The numbers in Yoni’s message that Esra’a and Jina circled and found so suspicious are just the numerical IP address of a website. I have no idea who Yoni is or what their problem with him or her is, but their becoming alarmed and hostile because of some unfamiliar numbers establishes that they are a pair of paranoid airheads.

Secondly, obviously you didn’t read neither the post nor Jina’s official post regarding this matter. We have tons of reasons to find Yoni suspicious, the IPs are the LEAST of our worries. We already expressed what had us concerned in the posts you were too busy being irritating to actually read.
Stop spamming this site with your rude nonsense. Express your opinions responsibly, especially if I come here to find like 10 comments by you each day all written in the same rude manner. I’m getting quite tired of your childish insults which you resort to without reading or understanding the issue at hand. Seriously, grow up.
Esra’a, am I wrong in saying that either you or Jina circled a numerical IP address in red and remarked alongside it “WTF!” and “Weird Shit!”? I can see why you would be embarrassed by having me point out that you got upset because you saw something that you didn’t know what it was. I cannot see why you have to become abusive to me for pointing out your error. I suspect most of your readers already knew it was an IP adress and realized your error. By abusing me you are just further embarrassing yourself.
You are scarcely one to complain of rudeness in addressing others. I have been routinely vilified here as a racist and a hater for pointing out familiar but uncomfortable facts. But you are right that there should be less of it.
Did you or did you not read Jina’s first post regarding this? Stop jumping to conclusions so fast! I circled the IP addresses because they are all different, yet that is NOT our main concern. Our main concern is that he has been using fake e-mails, fake names, fake IPs, fake everything – and he has never written a comment here in any of the threads that directly involve him. We have every right to be suspicious and after the threats we saw above, you are actually calling us paranoid? You have some nerve. There is no justification or reason for the types of threats he keeps sending us. Stop acting like you actually know what you’re talking about when you absolutely don’t. This is a story that most of us have been following for months now. You came here a few days ago shitting rude remarks on all of our threads and then you demand respect? EARN IT. Respect others so they can respect you.
Every other day here you approach me and call me “you’re so silly, you’re so embarrassing” while I never approached you in this same rude manner. Not if they fully justify their reasons. We have many haters and racists commenting here – we give them all 2nd chances. Most take it. Others refuse to. We haven’t resorted to editing their comments yet – but we will if they are spamming ALL our threads with insults and childish/personal remarks the way you’re doing here. Be respectful and considerate of others if you wish to have the same treatment in return.
Esra’a, I find that sort of distinction as persuasive as you might expect. Read back over some of my posts which referred to historical events and generalities, and see that the replies were personal insults. I don’t recall your getting too upset about that. You either have a standard or you don’t.
I agree heartily with your declared standard that there should be no personal abuse here. It would be more credible if it were applied less selectively.

I will go back and warn the ones who personally insulted you. I don’t always read all comments here if I get overwhelmed with other work but I make an effort to warn anyone (regardless of their opinions) to respect other individuals.
When a line is crossed you should point it out and we will take action.
When you come in the middle of a conversation, you don’t open your mouth like you know everything.
And the IP is not the IP of a website, it’s the IP address o the ISP or the proxy server Yoni is using.
Ohhhh… you started the name calling, when you called Wafa a racist, follow our policies or shut it. This is a private website you don’t own us.
PS: I am a webmaster and a system admin, unless you are qualified like me to know what the fuck I wrote in my post, please shut it and stop making a fool of yourself.
Jina- I was perhaps following Esra’a's notion that it is okay to call someone a racist if the charge can be supported (I disagree with that standard by the way). Wafa had just said that the Jews deserved the centuries of persecution. Would you not regard as racist a remark that Muslims deserve the suspicion and obloquy now heaped upon them? Perhaps you should read Esra’a's admonition to avoid abuse and even intemperate language?
What in God’s name are you even talking about? Where did I say that I would avoid abuse? You were the one approaching everyone here with disrespect and much anger. You should only deserve what you offer others in return.
Esra’a, now I am confused. Am I the only person who is to be respectful and everyone else is free to be abusive? What is your standard – abuse is OK or it isn’t?
You’re the one not being respectful and thus you’re the one who should be the LAST one here to ever complain about any lack of respect. That is all I have to say to you. When you’re rude, you get rude remarks in return. And when you spam every thread with rude remarks, that is against our comment policy. We let posts here and there go through – but you’re making an appearance in every other post making shallow insults about things you don’t even know about, like calling me and Jina “airheads” and later “embarrassing” without realizing how rude that is.
You deserved your warning. No one else so far here has been as rude as you and so frequent in their insults. Learn how to address others the way you wish to be addressed in return.
