But the reason i felt inclined to comment is because of the rest of the facts regarding the gulf war. First off, the palestinians in kuwait had it much better off than in any other arab country, with the exception of the UAE. So to claim that we have in any way abused them thus far before the gulf war proves why kuwaitis think palestinians are backstabbers. My mother used to work in Sabah hospital, and we moved to germany in 1985 so this was before there were any rumors about an invasion. A palestinian woman who works there says that she wishes to see the day Kuwait gets invaded. She wishes this even though she had an all expense paid trip and operation and stay at one of the best hospitals in london that was financed by the kuwaiti government.
This coming from my mother, who strongly believes that one should not say “I’m Kuwaiti” or “I’m Lebanese” etc…but should instead say “I;m Arab”. I do believe, and this is true, that only a few palestinians remained loyal to kuwait. My uncle works in the ministry and he’s been in the company of the few.

Another thing that you failed to mention was the billions and milliards of dollars Kuwait donated to palestine. How dare you accuse us of not doing anything but kick you out of our country when you have betrayed us? Again, you prove that the kuwaitis have to right to not trust you.
Your hate towards Kuwait is ironic given the fact that to this day every kuwaiti donates (voluntarily or involuntarily, it’s a requirement) about 10-20% of their allowance to the red crescent that supports palestine. The banks (owned by kuwaitis) automatically send that percentage to the rec crescent.

Also, your claim that kuwaitis mass murdered and raped and kidnapped is so lacking in evidence. Your “Abdel Karim”, whose name u place under quotations which only proves it’s a fake story, is the only evidence u have and the story about the missing girl?,……doesn’t mean that a kuwaiti has done it. That’s unfair and proves over and over again like your whole weak article that you are just venting ur typical hate towards kuwait. you found a way to vent out by using this sick man as an excuse, when u prove yourself just as sick.

The same hate and jealousy to gulf countries is seen here in the UAE, and i heard from a palestinian girl myself in uni when she complained about the UAE and still, funny enough, complained while at the same time asking what hamas is.

And you not only managed to provide a weak article, but also proved yourself like the (while wrongly accused because i believe the kuwaitis have to right to not trust just any palestinian anymore) you go and complain about how kuwaitis are this and that because of one or two journalists and you still had the audacity to claim (despite the falsehood of your fact of the minority Saddam supporting group because my family and their family friends have suffered so much in the gulf war from both palestinians and iraqis) that we kuwaitis are being unreasonable to judge a whole community based on a minority. You are doing the same with what, 2 or 3 journalists?

This is why again and again i ask myself why i should feel sorry and inlcined to help. But in the end i’m human and i can’t watch children day, and so i accept that a portion of my salary goes to support gaza and that the clothes and canned food i donated will reach it. Because this is for Allah, otherwise why bother with decades of ingatitude.

The Mahdi Army issued a infamous announcement in January, calling on all Palestinians inside Iraq to leave or ‘prepare to die’. Their reasoning is that they had ‘their bellies filled up’ while they were suffering under Saddam.
