I second Pouyan's comment and I too think that everything is going to be alright. Just hang in there, and know that we are all here to support you! The worst thing is familial concerns getting in the way of relationships. I hope that people soon realize that "success" is respect... is to be someone generous, loyal, well spoken, etc. Her father's reasons to reject you aren't good enough. So many people are educated, but are so spoiled, unappreciative, and dishonest, so they become horrible parents and the marriage fails. Unfortunately this is how people measure "success" these days.... by your income and degrees! Everything will be alright for you as long as you hang in there. You're a very cheerful and appreciative guy, so I know that you will feel better than ever soon, every time I talk to you, no matter what, your answer is always "I couldn't be happier!"
