In fact, my grasp of the concept seems clearer than yours, as I know that generalizations always admit of exception (it’s part of the whole “in general” concept). For example, “snakes have one head” is a generalization and valid despite the rare instances of two-headed snakes because it is true “in general”. Now, if I say “ALL snakes have one head” then that’s NOT a generalization because I said “all.” It’s also wrong because since I said “all” a single exception is enough to invalidate the claim.

You have it exactly backwards:

I’m also confused by your contradictions. You say both “You are NOT suppose to believe what your TV box says” and “it’s reality and the show is just showing what most experience on a daily basis.” Are the kids supposed to ignore it because it’s TV or believe it because it reflects reality?

What I am saying is that there is an organized, long-standing “nation”-wide campaign directed at children whose purpose is to train them to hate Israel and exhort them to die killing Jews. This campaign is political, religious, and cultural and deliberately perpetrated by whatever leaders they have at any given time (by which I mean not just Hamas).

You are NOT suppose to believe what your TV box says.

Also, you don’t need to teach them these things, living under occupation will ensure that at least a good proportion of the children would grow up to hate the Jews. I know, I’ve been there.

Imagine the reaction if an American children’s show showed Mickey Mouse being killed by a Palestinian terrorist.

But American children don’t get killed by an occupying army, so the people will be outraged, but in Palestine, it’s reality and the show is just showing what most experience on a daily basis, so no one will be outraged there.

I GREW UP IN PALESTINE, i spent 5 years of my childhood life there, not including every summer i would visit there as well, and i NEVER got this message in school, from TV, the papers, jokes, stories or GOD FORBID…the Mosque. No, I don’t think all Palestinian children watch the show: I never said I did. Now, do you think it’s possible to grow up in Palestine and NOT get this message? In school, on TV, in the Mosque, in the papers, jokes, stories, etc., etc. It permeates the society, even though some (thank God) are too smart to buy into the propaganda. If you want to argue that point, please do (and good luck!).
