"at the end of that post, you try to say that ‘Never Again Principle’ (the very famous quote about Holocaust) should be applied as well to the genocide which is going to happen in Palestine"

you misread me. i said: "It is easy to say “Never Again” to something as horrific as genocide, but what about saying “Never Again” to the horrific reality of systematic oppression that preceded it?"

the "systematic oppression that preceded" the Holocaust =/= "the genocide which is going to happen in Palestine."

i think you are conflating what i have said in this post with what other people have said on the topic. i get the feeling that you are not responding to what i have said, but responding to other arguments that other people (not me) have made. i am not making the argument that a palestinian genocide is imminent (but the decades of attempts at ethnic cleansing and forcible removal of palestinians from their lands can't be denied--even israeli officials admit to this).

also, why do you make such a point in saying that a palestinian holocaust couldn't happen in 50 or 100 years? what does that have to do with anything? the whole point of the statement you are addressing from my post is, does it have to get to that point? is that what it will take for the global population to condemn it?

I got what u said, but probably failed to state what I was thinking of properly. at the end of that post, you try to say that 'Never Again Principle' (the very famous quote about Holocaust) should be applied as well to the genocide which is going to happen in Palestine. this way, u think that Palestinians situation (the systamatic opression of Palestinians) may be compared to what happened to Jews in Europe: this new event (Palestinians') and that old one (Jews') follow the same pattern.
Now, I say that since there was a long time opression of jews in europe (as you have pointed out), and this opression had a cause which was a social hatred of them within some special groups of Europeans (as some analysts say), then IF these 2 conditions follow the same pattern, we should see a kind of opression of palestinians within the Israeli society (somehow a kind of racism, etc), and this phenomenon could not happen in 50 or 100 years, then we should be able to trace it back to a long time before Israel's establishment within jewish communities, which is really hard to be proven.
I got tired, and still think that didnt say what was in mind properly!

my intention was not to prove a thorough similarity. read this part of the post:

"I often struggle with finding accurate language in discussions of race and ethnicity, and I’ve heard others say that they desire more sophisticated terms for these discussions. You can take this post as an exploration of options, as well as an attempt to illuminate similarities in experiences, but not as an attempt to quantify or homogenize experience."

i did not allude to or mention anything about a long standing hatred of arabs by jews. i'm confused about where you read that.

though the main idea of your post seems sound, I think it lacks enough evidences to prove the thorough similarity.
you truely poinbt out that 'holocaust didnt happen overnight' but 'built on centuries of jewish opression, etc'... but indeed the establishment of Isreal happened over night (it took around 50 years and that period of time is just an 'overnight' compared to centuries) and do u think that Jewish community (people I mean, not politicians and regim) is systematically opressing Palestinians? is there any 'hate of Arabs' (between Jewish community) in the root of this opression? if so (which I doubt if its true), 50 years is not enough to produce such racism (racism, or whatever name ou choose for it)... then u must admit that it (hating the Arab by Jews) backs to several decades or even centuries ago, before the establishment of Israel... it means that Jews used to hate Arabs since a very long time ago... and this can hardly be proven or justified.
