And narcissism is, psychologically speaking, the one single neurosis that can never be cured, since that kind of neurosis cannot entertain the possibility of other independent viewpoints. It would invalidate the narcissist's conviction that they are always valid. So how to deal with conspiracy theorists? The same - and only - way narcissists can be dealt with: you leave them alone. Naturally they'll continue their lives immersed with their theories, but we should never think that there could have ever been a chance to try to dissuade them otherwise. Conspiracy theorists are usually great narcissists. It feels like Loch Ness monster footage. Everyone once in a while he has something worth listening to, but generally he tries to make everything into an elaborate conspiracy theory without any proof.
