Why is there so much violence, cruelty and abuse against women? not only here in the middle east but all over the world.. Even with laws, women are still getting abused mentally or physically and even raped in the west.. actually, 1 in 6 american women is a rape victim (2005) and every two and a half minutes a person gets raped in the US (2005) I think you have part of the answer.. women are the weaker sex.. but I think women are toughening up with the aid of knowledge, education and strong will.. we are taking very small steps.. hopefully in reaching our goal.. women's full rights. Writing about such things is a step, it's your voice, together with many other voices .. you will be heard.. keep up the good work I have been asking my self the same question for years now..
