In fact, there are some percent of people (everywhere in the world) who believes whatever they saw on TV.

In IRI, I am sure most people in villages which their connection to the world is just TV box, IRI programs and of course their mosques! they do believe Tv programs.

Even there are lots of conflicts between power groups in The Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) about to this TV shows because after 30 years some of figured out that not only it’s useless but also it brings more questions about TV shows.

No doubt, there are some percent of people who still believe regime stories and TV shows specially people who just use IRI’s TV as their media to the world and brainwashed people.

This TV shows are very ridiculous just you gotta watch it. I think so everyone with commonsense scholarship could find pressure on prisoner, unreal questions and answers. because of pressure, sometimes they forget what they should reply to questions then questioner change the question in the form of answer! then wait for a yes!! I am telling you, you gotta watch it.

Thanks, Mohammad. The reason I ask is that I suspect the IRI’s main reason is to influence their own citizens.

Fariborz (and many others, I’m sure) “donâ€™t believe in this kind of TV show” and condemn them, but I’d wager that a lot of the general public does believe.

ah, yeah! few months ago, a movie of the best comedian Iran has ever had, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, was published on youtube, in which he claimed that ‘a 16 year high-school girl has produced nuclear energy in her home with the help of her brother’. it was nonsense, but believe it or not, Ive seen some people who accept the claim and say: ‘its that easy that even a 16 year old girl can do it, ah, we should be very proud of ourselves’!

Note to the Iranian government's PR department... People in prison don't make TV programmes!. When terrorists, criminals, etc. in the UK get put in prison, they don't make confessional TV programmes. Programmes like this look just like Alan Johnstone's videos from Palestine.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t complete steps of IRI interrogation pattern because it is complex and very unpredictable. After “producing a framed or cobbled statement and confession” anything can happen. sometimes in next step it can be prison, execution or even freedom! which we always wish for freedom and most likely people after freedom the declined their confessions and claimed it was under torture and pressure.
