But what it's doing to the Muslims in Darfur is just inhumane. I agree with you moh’d. The fact that Mr. Henderson was a paid employee of the Bahraini government, who were fully aware and sanctioned his course of actions throughout his years of service-that was what he was paid to do, and he did not remain in service for all those years unless they thought he was doing a good job. It is highly unlikely that the government were not aware of his course of actions throughout his 34 years of service. Even now, he is a guest of Bahrain and gets a warm welcome (not public ofcourse). Ofcourse, the King declared an Amnesty for all the wrongs commited in the past and I guess he is "part" of that amnesty. He could have been deported the moment he landed at the airport, but he wasnt, which in my opinion would have been a good PR oppurtunity for reconciliation. Hitler was not only one person, neither was Saddam and though not a parallel neither is Mr. Henderson. To forgive and forget, the least we can do for all the people who have been wronged is acknowledge the facts. We cannot change the past, but if acknowledge the past maybe it can help us learn and make a better future.
