I agree with you moh'd. Outside observers do not understand the difficult task our leaders are faced with in controlling a diverse population, who don't have the country's best interests in mind.

although he has done some inhumane acts like torturing kids, but, torturing adults should’ve been the only thing to do.

I second that! Abuses against human rights should be applied selectively. The Sudanese government for instance was justified in killing, raping and stealing from the Animist/Christian south. But what it's doing to the Muslims in Darfur is just inhumane.

i really admire mr.henderson, he has done what should be done during the trouble times and he was the only solution to the opposition who are now trying to get sympathy for trying to overthrow the government, not for the people of bahrain, but for the benifit of iran. although he has done some inhumane acts like torturing kids, but, torturing adults should've been the only thing to do.

Whilst I admire the noble cause of standing up for inhumane practices and exposing those who are responsible, I feel this article omits one important fact. The fact that Mr. Henderson was a paid employee of the Bahraini government, who were fully aware and sanctioned his course of actions throughout his years of service-that was what he was paid to do, and he did not remain in service for all those years unless they thought he was doing a good job.

It is highly unlikely that the government were not aware of his course of actions throughout his 34 years of service.

Even now, he is a guest of Bahrain and gets a warm welcome (not public ofcourse). Ofcourse, the King declared an Amnesty for all the wrongs commited in the past and I guess he is "part" of that amnesty.
He could have been deported the moment he landed at the airport, but he wasnt, which in my opinion would have been a good PR oppurtunity for reconciliation.

Hitler was not only one person, neither was Saddam and though not a parallel neither is Mr. Henderson.

To forgive and forget, the least we can do for all the people who have been wronged is acknowledge the facts. We cannot change the past, but if acknowledge the past maybe it can help us learn and make a better future.
