They fear from "spies" and "terrorists." The tension between Bahrain and the IRI has existed for over 30 years now, we're very used to the threat, it's only now that the media started paying attention... which is why people think it's current, but really it has been going on forever. In fact the USA started bringing heavier ammunition since December, and they've housed a big base with us for at least a decade, so I'm not sure why the media is making it seem like it JUST happened. The excessive force all over the Gulf including Saudi has been piling up for many months now. It's no secret for us. This abuse of power must end but I think there are too many fearful people for a real effective movement to take place against it.
