Our first petition - Stop the media censorship against Kurds

A group of young people from all over the Middle East have decided to join forces with their Kurdish brethren in order to fight for their basic human rights. We have made a petition and urge anyone in support of human rights to sign it. Our first target is the media which is necessary for Kurds to voice their opinion, thus we are petitioning to unblock these voices, at least on the internet, our only media alternative against censorship and oppression.

Okay this is stupid, how come there’s so much on Kurds in Iran while Kurds in Iraq and Turkey were/are treated so much worse? A little arab supremacy perhaps?
These were the same arabs who cheered and said na’am na’am ya saddam even as he used mustard gas on Iranians and Kurds. Fuck them.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but Kurds in Iraq currently are not treated worse than Kurds in Iran and Turkey. This video is not about Kurdish history or what they went through under Saddam, it’s about current events.
Syria is one of few Arab countries who actively and visibly oppress Kurds, and we spent a lot of time condemning that. The ones elsewhere in the Arab world are not going through what Turkey and Iran are putting Kurds through, which is why these 3 countries have been our primary focus. It’s not an Arab issue, it’s a regional issue. Kurds have suffered no matter where they go in the region with the exception of Kurdish Jews in Israel, whose Kurdish population is very small compared to those in Syria, Iran, and Turkey.
I’m not saying Kurds in Arab countries are treated well; they are not. But it’s unfair to single them out and claim that they are supremacists.

Kurdish people are discriminated, in Iran, Iraq ( less now) and Turkey, the three country that have a good number of Kurdish people in a number of neighboring provinces.
Esra’a I am very much aware of this discrimination, and as I was in Kurdistan some time back, I learnt about things that really hurt me.
I wish countries that are always feeling threatened by these brave and traditional people, would try to invest in Kurdistan as to make it better for those people.
By the border of Iran and Turkey, you find villages that rarely a non native can make it to see those villages by himself. They used to make money before the revolution by taking goods into Turkey from Iran and vice versa, and that was not considered illegal, that way they culd make some extra money as to take care of themselves.
After the revolution even a garment would be considered smuggling and they did not plan for providing Kurdistan with some other means of making money but they inforced the law and that way we find a very painful situation. You go to the region and you see beautiful people , beautiful kids, proud people , beautiful nature, all neglected. I want to stress on the social conditions, because the social conditions contribute to the political consequences, people would seek ways to make a change, and there the clash setps in…
I send my regards to the Kurds, our own Iranian Kurds, Kurds from other countries, I want you to know as an Iranian I will stand beside you, and I know many other Iranians are there who will stand beside me.
I ask G-d for making it better for all of us.
In the modern history of human suffering, kurds have paid a substantial price for their temporary freedom. Th esuffering and killings are inhumane. Now Turkish government is attacking the civilians in northern Iraq in the name of defending their country and fighting terrorism, and as usual, we do not see any media footage of numerous recent civilian killings and sufferings in Kurdistan of Iraq.
Let’s spread the word about this sad injustice and stop the turks from killing innocent kurds.
