A series of Islamist groups Progress because some of their leaders have been used by the West.

Exactly how have they been used? If the implication is that their radicalism has been used as an excuse in the West to take on defensive policies, then I think your argument becomes similar to that eternal one of the Palestinians: we constantly fail because we are always the victims.

Ho hum.

A series of Islamist groups Progress because some of their leaders have been used by the West.

No wonder, the gurus of Hizb ut -Tahrir…… and many other extreme from the various militant Islamists to pro Islamists, and “moderate” Islamists can be used: just as they spread the earlier Ben Laden or now keep an eye on MKO.
All of them remain possible alternatives or tools of bargain for western agenda.

In any case, these people will all fail, simply because they don't understand globalized, corporate-based economics.

I read the news in different sources and languages.

I agree with you that they are a big bunch of fanatics, but their brothers govern in Iran and are not to give up their power.

In the beginning of 16th century, the Savvide Empire highlighted a sect of Islam, Shism, and imposed it with violence on people. Of course the dynasty used the sensibility of people who were in animosity to the Sunnis of Ottoman Empire.

Since then, Shism forcedly became the state religion. The dynasty needed it to hold out of Iran a moral fortress against its rival Ottoman's ambitions.

Though the dynasty imported "Seyads" from Lebanon to spread new faith, but the Shism grew in an atmosphere of revenge, hatred, martyrdom, mourning, and resulted into racism against Arabs and Turks who were Sunnis.

This brought the impetus of racism in Iranian popular culture, which is mainly against these two populations and has been coloured unwillingly in a sort of nationalism.

In my opinion the Islamic roots of racism have not been sufficiently recognised in the recent time. The Safavide dynasty is in fact the first Islamic regime and was one of the most reactionary dictatorial dynasties in Iran.

Might want to post up a source instead of just saying "the news".

Hizb-ut-Tahrir (from where I reside) are mainly nothing but a bunch of HS dropout retards who wet their pants over their dream regressive Islamic state.

So since you are adamant about believing that Islam is to blame for Iran's dire state, what do you have to say about the Safavid Dynasty, who was responsible for making Persia into a major player?
