A note about Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly Conference
Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly is an Islamic NGO which they got their name from following quote of Quran:
“Surely, Allah desires to keep away uncleanness from you, the Ahl-ul-Bayt, and to purify you a (thorough) purifying.” (Surah Al-Ahzab: Verse 33)
And they answer why they chose the name:
The reason for selecting “the Ahl-ul-Bayt (A.S.)” [the Infallible Household of the Holy Prophet of Islam (s.a.)] as the pivot of the activities has been due to the fact that besides the Holy Quran, the distinguished members of the Ahl-ul-Bayt (a.s.) constitute a holy focal point in the Islamic culture, which is accepted unanimously by all Muslims.
And this world assembly intorduce itself:
Today, there is a tangible necessity for modern foundations, which could prepare the grounds for exchange of views and thoughts, and introduce the common heritage of Muslim communities, including that of the followers of the Ahl-ul-Bayt (A.S.), to the world.
Such foundations could establish intellectual relations and collaborations with other organizations in the Islamic world to solve their cultural, social, and other problems; and make efforts to reinforce the solidarity among Islamic communities. They can also confront the socio-cultural conspiracies of enemies of the holy Quran and Islam by taking advantage of Islamic and Quranic records and exploiting rich resources of Islamic teachings.
History has proved that the followers of the Ahl-ul-Bayt (a.s.) have continuously had the honor of defending Islam and Muslims, and have made the most sacrifice and devotion in this way.
Evidently, under present conditions of the world, it would not be so easy to achieve a perfect and desirable success in fulfilling the abovementioned responsibilities. Rather, it requires consultation and cooperation. Based on this fact, the Ahl-ul-Bayt (A.S.) World Assembly was founded as a global and nongovernmental organization (NGO) by a group of brilliant figures of Islamic world.
Well, these guys gathered from all over the world to attend to this conference yesterday. A brilliant photographer took some pictures which is really funny for this conference. It seems these so-called distinguished members of brilliant figures of Islamic world are just get bored and fall asleep. What was wrong with them? or the whole subject was boring?
Is this group nap or just an Islamic NGO meeting?

What is he doing? This famous brilliant figure of Islamic world which is known for Iranian people are looking for camera:

This is another distinguished members of brilliant figures of Islamic world instead of listening, he’s taking pictures:

What did they accomplish so far was just having some meetings and wasting petrol money on inviting people over and let them enjoy their nap and get relax.

Awww, look guys. It’s one of Farirborz’ attempts to be funny!
Esra’a:
what’s wrong with this one?
Well, for one thing, let us investigate your misleading language:
Excuse me? Most Muslims worldwide don’t even know who these people are, let alone relate to them and echo their opinions/ideals. The correct phrasing would be “brilliant” (oh look you figured out how to be sarcastic) “figures of pseudo-Islamic world.” While these people represent the religious extremes within Muslim countries, this is not what most Muslims think/dress/believe. The genius within you seems to be convinced that this is how we (and Islam) really are.
Among these crapules, I can recognise Mesbah Jazdi, the mastermind of Iranian president Ahmadinejad. He is an erudite of Hojjatieh-sect. The one which believes “the more injustice on the Earth will accelerate reappearance of the Hidden Imam”.
This hotchpotch is the concept of exterem brutality of the hardliners in Iran and maybe an appocaliptic plan of such Islamist gathering.
Doesn’t Ahl-ul-Bayt litterally mean “People of the House”?
Omid: yes, with “House” referring to the House of God.
Gotcha.
How important is the seyyid distinction that is used by Shi’a to designate descendants of Prophet Muhammad to the Sunn’i?
Kind of off topic, Isn’t King Hussein of Jordan, I saw on his website that he can trace his roots back to Ali.
Hahah I like this post.
Esra I think what you are against is not Fariborz posts which are fine but against the comments and so far there are none insulting Islam or anything so I wouldn’t worry. I think this is a good and reasonable post
there’s nothing wrong with making fun of the extremist types above. We should do more of that. In terms of his opinions (and sometimes his approach) I side with you but I don’t think it applies to every single one of his posts and certainly not the one above which isnt an insulting comment on islam. It’s the type (extremism) that we always make fun of here.
Esra’a:
Bring it on investigator
Does it matter that you know them or don’t? They call themselves what they want!
what does it make them pseudo-Islamic world?! Because you or some wouldn’t agree with them!
What if most Muslins accept them, then what? are they house of God or whatever?
This is the problem, if they hesitate of calling them Muslim and still believe in Ahl al-Bayt, where are Muslims protests or movements against these conferences?
If you shut up I wouldn’t notice you; I will notice you when you talk.
Esra’a:
By the way, they are Muslims and you can’t ignore it.
Jahanshah:
He’s famous for his stupidity.
Omid:
Ahl-ul-Bayt refers to the household of Muhammad in the Islamic tradition.
I am not sure really but I think so it’s important for Sunn’i as well as Shia.
That’s right.
Murad:
Nice to hear good news!
Extremists (as you said) would go crazy if they would have chance to read this article in Middle East, Right?
Here is the thing to mingle on it, unfortunately every religious person (most likely) has defined a prejudice line for himself and not only doesn’t give anybody to pass that line but also doesn’t give himself a chance to open his mind and listen to other and study their opinion!
What’s wrong if we discuss your religious values and you can let others discuss and talk about your religion? Why shouldn’t you appreciate that there some interest (negative/positive) to your religion or values? it shouldn’t be a problem, Right?
Danial:
Still do you carry that insulting mouth? and looking for compassion when people insult you?
I’m sure you’re a kid but remember, you can cure
Are you extremist Sunnis? or people here? if not, why did you bring it on?
Danial:
Cool down and continue discussion
I told you, there is a cure for that
