Cradle of filth is a british Black Metal band that has a song called “Thank God for the Suffering” from their 2003 album, “Damnation and a day”. This song is very nice and I like it; but I’ve never been thought about its validity. Why should we thank god for the suffering? What does it mean? Isn’t god the source of grace?

Whats’ the point of this silly debate? I have archived debates with Muslims about the Baha’i Faith and at the time I thought I was doing what I should, but in fact its just fueling a resentful flame.
No amount of quoting the Quran or Bible or Torrah or any other scripture will change someones mind. therein lies the problem.
You are trying to attempt to change someones opinion by appealing to their mind and intellect. Issues of the soul are handled through the heart.

I didnt know many things as I’m beginner here. for this, excuse me!
And I live in Iran too (not canada or other safe places, if I were I would my real name!) and many Iranian bloggers know who exactly I am. I’m not very anonymous! I think four-five years blogging makes any anonymous uncovered!
I know that my article attacks some idealogies as I am a muslim too!
But it was a real question for me that no one could have solve it. so what should I do as a muslim?
I really didnt want to make problem for anyone here and didnt know your situation, So I appologize for my treatments! therefore I deleted my comments and edited those that should be edit!
you know the situation in Iran really hurts me that made me to Thank God For the Suffering! And I just tried to understand why should I suffer! I found that verse in Quran for the source of suffering! am I guilty? If I am, so please inform me! I really would be happy!
I didnt mean that muslims are Brainwashed! Did I really talk that way? I dont think so!
I just posed a question and wanted to be solved; first in my own weblog and now here!
Here were told to Read, Listen And Think! Here were told there is a freedom of speech and I tried to be not offensive to anyone (as I believe not to such of these things (to be offensive)). Ok, if I were; I would apologize everyone who suffered of being Thoughtful and never I will write that way!
p.s. you invite me to thought provoking articles and I accept and say OK. But in the end I say something and no more continue it: I remember physicists, scientists and philosophers conflicts who had conflicts just for provoking thought such as Einstein, Galile, Darwin, Copernicus, Dawkins and some other that I cant remember! And today I stop continuing for peace, god’s will and a world free from any conflicts!
