An American Comedy..
News Flash – Our man of the hour George here, would rather to go down in flames than to leave whatever he tries to conquer..
I’m talking about the latest ill-thought slogan the Bush regime is trying to send out.. the “Return on Success”.. Where the plans is that the american forces would leave the Iraqi soils, while the Iraqi powers rise and paint the new painting with native brushes, under the guidance of the fake democracy Bush is waving in his flag..
It’s not a matter of ending the issue and giving the american troops the peace of mind and send them back home by the ’08 new year, but it’s more of keeping them where they are, Build even more boot-camps, double the funding, send more troops, while he leaves the presidency and dances off singing “It’s your problem now, Mr. New President”.. What the slugger says is that he’s bringing some of them back.. Yeah, well see if the ratio between the infantry and the marshals add up to something fair on who’s coming home and who’s sticking around for the birthday cake to blow..
Now, i didn’t follow the elections that much, neither would i consider that as an option unless Comedy Channel was out, but i do know that whoever intends to take over after Bush, he’d be another master piece in the hall of Shame.. Call me a pessimist, but with candidates who threat to nuke the holy mosques, and others who follow little George’s steps in making fools off of themselves, i find it hard to get what’s the point.. Where all going to end up in the same path, and we’re all going to be in the same drama.. Same Story, Different Director..
It’s funny to notice that bush didn’t even imply the meaning of the words “withdrawl” or “bringing back:” anything more than he kept on blabbering for 18 minutes, with HINTS of a modest withdrawal.. Just to make sure he doesn’t get on the dark side of those who as for a drawdown..
“We’re making enough success in Iraq that we can begin bringing some troops home,” Bush repeated on Friday at a Marine base in Quantico, Va. “I told the American people last night that we’ve got what’s called `return on success.’”
I don’t know if the American people bought that.. Because if they did, are we even watching the same Media coverage on what’s going around Baghdad?
Well, according to Crowley, a former white house defense official, the only reason Bush is stalling the drawback, is to make the Iraqi’s mission’s failure drop on the next president’s lap.. Now how’s that for devious thinking? i don’t think am using the word devious properly after second thoughts on this deal..
I guess it is again, another SSDD..
Yours,
Lou..

Great issue to be discussing Lou.
Or, in the case of Iraq..
Same story.. different dictator.
Lou,
We’ll see if something can be worked out in Iraq between the factions.
You’ll note only a few fringe democrats are calling for immediate return as they realize the problems with that too.
The regime you are assisting in proping up is one of the predominate supporters of our problems so I suspect you have no problems with that issue as long as you are making good money.
Lou,
All the troops that he “decided” to bring home were already scheduled to come home. So, esentially, Bush is continuing to do nothing.
I am ashamed to call George Bush the president of the American people. Half a trillion dollars, millions displaced, thousands of Iraqi and international casualties for what? Greater Middle East instability and a tanking US economy. What a legacy for W.
So much for “liberty” and “human rights,” eh?
Miriam,
This war with radiacl Islam will probably go on for the next 10-15 years.
Our GNP last year was 16 Trillion dollars.
The economy is doing very well actually.
The ME has been ubstable for the last 40 years.
You are obviously confused.
Iraq is not a war against radical Islam. In fact, Saddam didn’t even apply Islamic law to his country, nor is he ever regarded as a religious figure. The war is a result of dirty politics, and many people within the Bush administration admit that they entered to secure access to oil, as opposed to actually caring about democracy for the Iraqi people.
I think a problem is that one side is fighting for independence, one side is fighting for oil and power, and another side is fighting on behalf of radical Islam.
Miscommunication, the son of all bitches.
When I say independence, I think I mean not being blown up and being able to breath normally.
