I don't know if this was well publicized, but a couple of months ago some Israeli border patrols noticed Sudanese in Egypt trying to sneak in. When informed, the Egyptian border patrols shot the refugees and killed them (<a href="http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull&cid=1186066367980" rel="nofollow">see here</a>). So the Israeli gov't cannot pretend they did not know. Just makes me ashamed of my country. Shameful on Israel.
