Language Barrier

November 17th, 2007Peter Jacob (Israel & USA)

Hi folks. Need a little help for a friend in Israel who doesn’t speak Arabic. If you can figure it out (the sounds isn’t great) let BZ at Jewschool know what is up…Just for a little note, this is a video of students chanting in Arabic at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. There is a major education strike going on in Israel and there is a question to if this demonstration has to do with the strike…thanks.

  1. Hey, sorry for the late reply! But I do not think this has anything to do with the strike. They are singing an infamous Palestinian song, called, “Unadeekom,” which means “We call upon you.”

[Please someone correct me if I am mistaken or add if you know anything more about this. This is just my 2 cents.]
