who's the guy in the traditional garb lurking in the background? Was he one of the protesters or a cop "keeping an eye on the troublemakers"?

Esra'a,
She is very nice,
SHe can protest why not? I believe meetings of the political authorities of different countries is a good thing, I don't care who is is what position, relationship is better than no relations. But at least Bahrain is open as much as to tolerate even a small number of students, youths complain, make a statement, and Iran is not tolerant for that, if these people were in Iran now they would be in jail if they protested against an oficial thing going on. In Iran only the meetings are welcome that are inline with the authorities policies. In fact they are encouraged.

In America the general populace believes that Bush's trip to the Middle East is for show. He wants to show the Americans how friendly he is with the Middle East and he wants to show Iran how mighty/powerful/whatever America is.

One more year, guys. Our election is November 2008.
