Photo essay from Afghanistan: The story of Nasim Fekrat

This is a link to a wonderful photo essay by Nasim Fekrat, who is a photojournalist, a blogger, a project coordinator and most importantly, a great friend. As frequent readers already know, Nasim is also heavily involved in Afghan Press, which was launched very recently and we hope to see it in action very soon.

Wow … Nasim — his adventurous spirit, his open-mind, his open-heart, and his willingness to be honest about himself and society; all the while working to inspire people to make new friends, create their own future, and not be controlled by oppression — he sure represents the very best parts of the indominable human spirit, doesn’t he?

the pix are interesting with the text giving depth to them. Nicely done

Blogging hasn’t always been easy. First I took notes. Then, when there was power, I typed them up. After that I saved them to a memory disk. And finally, I went to an internet café in the city upload it on my blog.

This is a very good example of where there’s a will, there’s a way for blogging
