I’m not sure if this has been mentioned here before, because I am new to this blog, but I wonder if you and/or Mr. Wimmer know about an organization called Soliya. Their website is http://www.soliya.net and actually their whole program pretty much revolves around skype conferences (based on skype, they have their own custom software which is pretty awesome)between college students in the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East (though they’ll be expanding soon to South Asia). They are full of resources (just troll around their website for a while, or send an email to one of the contact persons), and if you are interested in facilitated conversations between youth I think it’s something really wonderful to check out. They’d probably also like to know about exchanges between high school students…

I want to let everyone know that my students are extremely excited for the conference tomorrow. If you have doubts about joining the discussion, I implore you to join in to help break many of preconceived ideas my students have about the Middle East. The more diversity the better! Also, I want to thank Esra’a and everyone that is going to join the conversation for their time and effort in this venture!
