<description>Numerous attempts have been made to conduct security talks between the feuding nations of Iraq and Iran. However, up to this point, no success has been made between the two sides. In February, Iran postponed security talks with Iraq for the fourth time. The Huffington Post reports that attempts to negotiate are strictly Iraqi efforts. Iranians show little to no interest in participation in negotiations: &quot;this is the fourth time that we agreed on a date and they don&#039;t show up.&quot; This only goes to show the stubborn mentality along with the constant tension plaguing the Middle Eastern region.
