We totally agree with what everyone is saying about the eight kids that were killed in the seminary in Jerusalem. It is totally horrible that those people would do such a thing. And for Spanky, Esra is completely correct with what Y Love is recognizing that Hitler was good at coming to power, and not that he was good at the horrible and frivolous acts that he committed to the thousands of Jews and social outcasts that were “unfit” to live in the land that he wanted to rule. And, again, as far as the seminary shooting goes, like I said, it was and would be a very bad thing to go through if you were to know any of the family or friends that knew the eight students that were killed.

In no way shape or form is the man that killed innocent children a hero. There is no way to justify killing innocent people, and children at that. Schools should not be killing grounds but should be a place for worship and education. Schools should also not have to tell eight families that their kids have been brutally gunned down. When people like that continue to spread violence this war will never be over. I know that we are only Americans and we do not know what life is like in the middle east, but I just don’t think that killing eight innocent 15 year olds can ever be considered heroic in any way shape or form!

by Najad, he means Ahmadinejad? Ahmadinejad was not involved in hostage crisis… hostage takers are today reformists, and some of them (insincerely) regret what they did 30 years ago.

We are very fortunate to have someone like Abdallah al-Hadlaq because of his value for all human lives. The families of the young students don’t deserve to be humiliated by people praising the murders as “heroic.” Not only does the Middle East deal with cultural hardships and discrimination, but here in the U.S. we struggle with such problems as well. The best we can hope for is to try to resolve the misunderstandings by gaining an acceptance of other civilizations.

No. I still think you are interpreting it incorrectly. Many people would agree that Hitler was a considerably smart man (as evil as he was) with many leadership qualities (even if none of them are good, or were used for any good cause.) This is also what the author here is trying to say. He did NOT in any way praise anything Hitler did at the time of his rule. I see no irony here nor any link to his recent and plausible article.

Besides, the author’s e-mail is available on his posts. Why don’t you write him an e-mail and ask him first-hand, “do you support Hitler and advocate his ideologies?” I know for sure that you will not receive a response even close to what you are trying to make this author say.

he think that “the brave and great leader” Hitler – as he call him four times in the article – is better than Najad, because Najad was such a bad fella who committed the terrorist act of holding the American embassy workers as hostages 30 years ago, if you can’t see the irony you will need your vision checked?

he is calling Hitler a “great leader” three times in the same article and praise his qualities, so either this guy or seriously mentally disturbed or he is dangerously ignorant, because it’s a well known fact that the stupidity of Hitler and his lack of leadership qualities is what caused the German sound defeat in WW2

Spanky, it is so much like you to take that article out of context. He is describing Hitler in terms of charisma. He is not saying Hitler is a great leader because of what he did, he is saying Hitler was great in gaining power and persuading his followers to support him. He also described him as a megalomaniac.Seriously, for the sake of good discussions here, stop twisting things and listen to what people are actually saying for once. Also, please refrain from spamming threads with irrelevant posts. If you have something to say that is not at all relevant to the thread at hand, use the forums for complaints and silly remarks. Not the threads.
