I have been in a religious limbo since teenage and have got these stupid questions for all you fellas who felt very strongly about GOD in general.

Anyone ever wonder why God or Allah or whoever we professed HIM/HER to be has remained so passive while we kill each other in HIS name ? Anyone who has so strongly convinced and professed to be doing HIS biddings, have actually met HIM ? If not don’t you think that God might not be who we think HE is ? In fact, He may just be whoever we think HE could be and hence that’s why we have so many interpretations to the holy books ? Is there anyone out there who professed that Islam is not the way Wilders have painted it, stand up and explain what those Quranic verses that he used in FITNA actually meant ?

Is GOD = love, mercy, compassion instead of all the negative traits that are associated with HIS name now ?

If “Fitna” is so inconsequential, why the furor over it? Agreed, many very brave muslims are standing up for basic rights due any human being which are denied to them. Agreed, they are “catching hell” for it. That seems to be the price of progress everywhere. Throughout history, people standing up and demanding recognition and verification of their God-given right to live as they choose, have suffered abuse, incarceration, violence and death. Personally, I feel much more sympathy for Kareem Amer than Wilder. Kareem KNEW his ass was on the line when he did what he did. He did it anyway. Wilder, probably believes that his crappy litttle slide show was rightous or art or something too. Tough to miss the 109 verses in the koran that preach hate, torture, terrorism, rape, enslavement, murder, genocide, wife beating,and subjugation of women. “Prophet of Doom” did it much better. Problem is, people are suffering all over the place when a muslim demands his rights or an infidel brings up a few “inconvenient truths”. What can I do but try to understand and lend support to those that suffer? Esra’a talks about folks suffering there…yep, all I gotta do is watch the news about how many “honor killings” there were today. Or how many sunnis whacked x number of shias or vice verse today…and go get a latte. Is Wilder trying to put some reality on the “problem” or just selling bullshit? Is islam going through growing pains that is totally “islam business” and outsiders should “Butt out”? Whatever else Wilders little clip did, it sure stirred something up.

Word up Esra'a, but they'll probably demonize her for defending the "barbaric" Chechens, even though they have been suffering immensely under Russian tyranny for years. You never know how twisted they are to come up with unusual rationalizations for their disgusting hatred. I made a post calling on these Wilders fanatics to step up and answer my question. Let's see what they come up with.

Politkovskaya is by far one of the most inspirational figures for free speech. She is a true model for this generation. It is an insult to compare her to Wilders and downright stupid to claim that she deserved any less protection, for her work is FAR MORE important and is worth more than Wilders ever contributed throughout his witless existence. Comparing the two would be like comparing Ghandi with Nick Griffin, or Bin Ladin with one of the teletubbies. To state that she is much less important than Wilders (or even of equal importance) is so wrong it almost sounds criminal to me.

Anna contributed so much to humanity. It hurts to know that we lost her for good. But she has inspired a generation of leaders in human rights activism.

Wilders on the other hand did nothing but feed the racism and bigotry that continues on throughout Europe to this day.

Actually he was imprisoned (and rightly so), and supposedly hunted down by supporters of the British National Party, which I consider to be violent and extremist (ideology and tactics are similar to that of the KKK.) According to his lawyer, he is "probably the most frequently abused and ridiculed figure in this country." (BBC) So yes, he did put his head out there.

Damn it 1 person got murdered. Here in Canada and the USofA, hell of a lot more minorities get murdered or seriously injured every year due to attacks on them by white Christians. Not only that, these white Christians desecrate places of warship, cemeteries, and other religious and most of the times non-religious establishments that are used by certain religious or ethnic groups. Majority of these attacks are directed at Jews, Muslims and anyone with brown skin. So ya… bloodthirsty Christians exist also. I believe Urope is much worse than US and Canada when it comes to hate crimes so I wonder how it is over there…

Well, thank you! That’s all I wanted to hear. To me this debate is not a contest about who suffers more. Obviously, you do and I willingly admit that. So please calm down, don’t shoot yourselves, don’t hang yourselves. I wouldn’t want to have that on my conscience.
