Though know you personally, I was astonished to read your story and contemplate your words in corelation to you as a human…. I feel as if I sitting at a mouth of a well and gazing in the deep water dwon to take me to its depth forever….. it is a crazy world for a caring human like you to be thrown into its insane depth!!!…. Eva Ferraro is a name that I would never forget but will cherish it forever and tell my children of that brave and irritating lady!!! Eva, you are our true sister of Palestine!!!

I’m sorry that I come back to your comment only now, I’ve been incredibly busy lately in creating my own little dialogue network for Palestinians and Israeli.

I hope that many will read my story – not because it’s “my” story, but because it will make people aware, like you said, Habib, that Israelis (like every other people everywhere) are not “one” as the media paint us, but individuals with different opinions. In our case, like in many other countries as well, a specific type of opinion may prevail, may be a majority, but there is NEVER a case where “all people” would agree with what their leaders do and say. I know its the same on the Palestinian side – I know that because I’ve gone beyond the “mainstream media-influenced thinking” – but many Israelis never got that far (until now). And we, the few people aware of this enormous ignorance, do whatever we can to spread awareness that the Palestinians as well are not “ONE” (e.g. all Gazans are with Hamas, and similar opinions).. You have read that it’s not easy to do, but we all feel that we have to try, we have to go on, even if our achievements are little and slow to come. But if we stopped to try, nothing would ever be achieved!

but now I know, and also I understand that there is some few Israelis that think about it deep and on a basis of mutual respect.
