Hey Ray, will you be going? We’d be interested to know how it goes!
I thought this was going to be about Baha’is, when I first read that it was on religious oppression.
I was a bit sad that the proceeds were going to Amnesty International, it should’ve gone to local Iranian organizations who are risking their lives fighting against such widespread abuse, and not sent to an organization whose efforts are to basically write e-mails to officials. Not against Amnesty, but just saying it’s certainly not the most effective way to act against this. I wish Iranian organizations were supported instead, they know how to tackle this better than anyone else.
A very good efforts to show people what happens here. Thank you Ray for the information
