Vote for Mideast Youth at the Staples Youth Social Entrepreneur Competition!

October 31st, 2008Esra'a (Bahrain)

Mideast Youth is one of the 15 finalists in this competition. It’s YOUR votes that will determine whether or not we will be the global winner! If we win, the prize will be used to create the Arabic and Farsi sections of this site, which is crucial for our growth.

We work hard voluntarily for Mideast Youth. We do not have an income or have any sources of official funding. We have not received any donations in many months. It’s therefore awards like these that are vital for us to survive and improve, so PLEASE VOTE!

(Login or register to vote, it’s worth it.)

Read our competition entry here.

Edit: Drima notes -

Esra’a you might want to inform people that the registration email may very possibly end up in the Bulk or Spam folders of your email account.

Please be sure to check your bulk/spam folders for the email that confirms your registration to vote.

  1. I just voted for MEY. You definitely deserve to win this competition. Forced by the “three votes” rule I read through the other projects’ description. Some of them are certainly doing important work, some may have a great concept. But after all, I think I would have voted for MEY even if I didn’t know it. Freedom of Expression is something people tend to forget about when they’re starving. One mustn’t adopt New Hampshire’s “Live free or die” to know that it is still important.

  2. I vote for Mideast youth as they are trying hard to change the mindset of many in the Middle East to voice their opinion and have freedom of speech.
