Both Israel and Hamas are responsible for the war crimes in latest Gaza-Israel tragedy
While each side is pointing a finger of blame at each other, the fact is BOTH SIDES, Israel’s Government and the Hamas Terrorist organization are responsible for war crimes in the killing of civilians.
While Israel does have a “right” to defend itself, massacring civilians in order to kill Hamas guerillas firing rockets over the border is unjustified and morally wrong. It is outrageous.
Yet, the actions of Hamas has ripped out the principled fight of the Palestinians against Israel’s blokades and Hamas is also guilty of war crimes, intentionally targeting civilians in their feeble and pathetic rocket attacks. The firing of rockets is as worthless as it is to send young brainwashed Palestinians into suicide missions to massacre Israeli civilians.
But, what else is new in this conflict?
You can read my feelings on this outrageous conduct by both sides on the HuffingtonPost.com.
The conduct of Israel’s government and Hamas are pathetic, unprincipled and immoral. And those who take sides joining in the mob like screams for vengeance are as guilty as the people they point to on the other side. Neither side is innocent.

So well said, my friend. How do you convince the powers that be on both sides though?
This is exactly what the extremists on both sides want. Theyw ant the death and destructions. Israeli extremists want Hamas attacks. Palestinian extremists want the Israeli attacks. They want the death because this is the leadership flaw in our communities. For Palestinians, they can’t lead for peace. They can’t organize for peace. But when Israelis strike at hamas and kill scores of civilians, they can mobilize protests of emotion and even hatred. And the Israelis can’t find the courage to stop stealing Palestinian land or enjoying the “upperhand” but they can find the motivation to defend Israel blindly as that is so much easier than speaking out against its actions.
This is a cycle we are going through and it won’t end until we find new leadership, new leaders who have the courage to say what needs to be said and not fear the extremist voices who are small but sound loud in the silence of the emotional and fearful majority.

Well said.
Funny is this statement:
“Supreme Leader issued a religious decree to Muslims around the world on Sunday, ordering them to defend Palestinians in Gaza against Israeli attacks “in any way possible,” state television reported. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei also declared today a day of public mourning in Iran after Israel killed more than 280 Palestinians in two days of air strikes on Gaza. “All Palestinian combatants and all the Islamic world’s pious people are obliged to defend the defenseless women, children and people in Gaza in any way possible,” Khamenei said. “Whoever is killed in this legitimate defense, is considered a martyr,” he said in a statement.”
While Iran jails a lot of people themselves and even bombed sunni mosques. What about the Awazi Arabs?
“While Sunnis are accorded “full respect” in the Iranian constitution, in practice and through social exclusion, Iranian Sunnis suffer discrimination. The Iranian government has barred the construction of a Sunni mosque in Tehran, and has moderately restricted public displays of the Sunni religion and culture (CULPO101-03 = 2; CULPO796-03 = 2). Along with these exclusionary practices, there was also some evidence of torture and executions used to intimidate certain Arabs (REP0501-03, REP0601-03 = 1). Despite exclusionary practices and repression, there is no sign of outward protest or rebellion (PROT03 = 0; REB03 = 0), and clearly Shi’a Arabs are afforded full religious rights.”

Some say that Israel brought Hamas to power to weaken PLO.
