Mapping the intensifying wave of raids and arrests of Baha’is in Iran

February 4th, 2009Esra'a (Bahrain)

meyarabicKawthar Muhaib, the editor of the Muslim Network for Baha’i Rights, has been hard at work documenting the latest news of the Baha’i minority, primarily in Egypt and Iran. More recently a map was created (and is constantly being updated) reporting and locating the Baha’is that have been arrested in Iran since October 2008. You will find this map here (and its associated article.)

We’re constantly thinking of ways we can prevent the consistent human rights abuses of the Baha’i minority in Iran beyond what we do online; if interested in helping out please let us know on info[at]bahairights.org

Note: BahaiRights.org is now also on Twitter, as are some of our other projects.
