I think the article is explaining why!

Forbidden softwares included in most of american companies and services, we can not access download section in java website, it says:

We encountered an issue while trying to automatically install Java software onto your machine

And then after many attempts you finally get some error saying, your country can not access this section or you can simply see it in the FAQ section.

Google says:

Forbidden
Your client does not have permission to get URL /p/thecode/ from this server.

client here means IE, FireFox or safari. But it’s obviously talking about your IP.

Java softwares include: JVM that is something you need to run most of online applications like online meeting softwares, chat, file browsing, .. etc.

Google softwares such as google earth, GTalk, and everything else uploaded on google source code which is thousands of open source softwares..

Microsoft is maybe the only good company that still allowing us to download whatever we want from most of their websites.. and maybe all I’m not sure.
Microsoft development and hosting services are definetly a competitor to the others such as Java.
and much more professional than the source codes found in google..
but they are not of a replacement as they are of different purposes..
You can not run wordpress on microsoft hosting!

And actually it’s not the point we are discussing here.
