Obama nor anybody else will ever make the Israeli government change. Its been over 60 years and there is no change, israel continues to take Palestinian land as they did since the birth of the of their country. palestinians have suffered decades of oppression from the hands of the IDF. Until Israel surrenders all palestinian land, gives palestinian refugees their right of return and return east jerusalem to the palestinians there will never be peace in the region. U guys can call me pesimistic but Im speaking the truth. Im palestinian and have been in both Israel and the palestinian territories plenty of times and most people in the region feel that way. I also support the palestinian armed struggle whether it is Fatah, Jabha, or Hamas. I dont condone all their actions but without them the palestine would have been lost a long time ago.

Michael W.
Has anybody ever told you that you are wrapped way too tight?
Take a deep breath there every now and then son.
Read some poetry and have nice hot cup of mint tea.
Mmmmm tea.

Can you please give me a quote and source of Emanuel and Axelrod saying that they are "pro-settler" or something along those lines? Since they are both close to Obama, are you saying Obama is also "pro-settler"?

Hafiz?

I'm sorry you don't believe in democracy. Voting is a part of it, but as responsible citizens, we should also be active in influencing government. Sending an email to your representative, if it is read, is a form of lobbying. Lobbies, are just organizations that do it on behalf of people. You can create your own organization of like minded people to lobby for you. But of course, people who don't take any initiative always whine.

If someone you disagree with is elected and pushes for something you don't like, you can lobby the government.

Just because you don't like the way people vote, don't be so smug thinking you are always right. Admitting mistakes is a humbling experience.

"Do you think election results are pulled out of a hat?"
There's one thing that runs this world and it's not people. It's the Pentagon. (But thats gonna change as soon a China gets their aircraft carriers and some more subs built approx.10 yrs.) But I digress.
The act of voting is like this. Do you remember that little plastic lawn mower you're parents bought you when you was a kid? It made that litttle Rrrrrrrrr when you pushed it across the lawn.
You'd laugh and carry on and think you was cuttin some serious grass. lol.

Well thats what voting is Son.

Always has been. Always will be.

I should clarify. The fact that they happen to be Jewish doesn't mean anything. I should have referred to them as "pro-settler " . In other words, that species of troglodyte that thinks it's okay for one person to steal land by force from another person. And use "God" as a pretext. . The soul of a person has absolutely nothing to do with race. Just look at Hafiz.

So what if the White House Chief of Staff and a Senior White House Adviser are Jewish? Is Barak Obama Jewish as well?

Do you think election results are pulled out of a hat?

Are you whining about having

BTW, Rahm might have volunteered on an IDF base, but he wasn't a soldier. Also, the former was Congressman of Illinois (I think), Rahm Emanuel, represented the constituency of Illinois, not Jewish Americans.

And so what if there is a much higher percentage of Jewish Americans in the US government the percentage of Jews in the constituency? There is an even higher percentage of Jews who won Nobel Prizes. Is that a crime? Is developing vaccines that saves billions/millions of people a crime?

Rahm Emmanuel White House Chief of Staff, and former Israeli Army Soldier. . .(Rahm Emmanuels Father was a former member of Irgun.) I guess thats not much different than teaming up with the Nazis the same way America did after WW2.

Michael W. There's only one reason you believe in the illusion commonly referred to as American democracy. It's because the Truth hurts... but the lie never does.

It's probably because thick substances and pastes, like sweets, jams and tomato paste can easily conceal bombs and weapons inside them.

Eva, you should look around for some facts before you jump the gun...
