JeninStan of Mr. Dayton and the “Two-States” Solution
July 13th, 2009I cant see but pantostons in the West Bank (sorry Historic Yesrael), and this is at the meantime before they double the number of the settlers again.
After 26 year of occupying the West Bank, in 1993, the number of the settlers was only 120, 000 in scattered settlements. As the whole world was talking of “peace” the Zionists were faking a peace process of Oslo while hectically busy in doubling the number of settlers in only 7 years to be 250, 000 settlers in 1999 as Sharon stated it very clear :“Everybody has to move, run and grab as many hilltops as they can to enlarge the settlements because everything we take now will stay ours… Everything we don’t grab will go to them.” Ariel Sharon, Israeli Foreign Minister, addressing a meeting of militants from the extreme right-wing Tsomet Party, Agence France Presse, November 15, 1998. Now, in 2009, the number is doubled again to more than 500,000 settlers in over 300 settlements systematically built and connected with Hiways system to prevent any possibility of establishing any kind of a Palestinian state but segregated pantostons. “Another settler, another donum, another sheep” this is how the Zionist project works to take the whole cake of Palestine at the time they are (managing the ongoing crisis) faking a kind of “peace process” to deceive the gullibles!!
12 years ago, in 1997, I told Mocia, my Iraqi jewish friend, that I don’t believe that the Oslo Accord would lead to anything (of peace), and I explained to her by drawing that, at that time, the West Bank was divided into 5 parts (at least): Hebron area, then comes Gush Itzion settlements block that cuts Hebron off from Bethlehem as a separate pantoston, then the great Jerusalem that cuts the whole West Bank from the middle, then comes the Pantoston of Ramallah segregated by tens of surrounding settlements, then to the north there is Gush Ariel settlements block which also cuts off the West bank again into two parts starting from Qalqilia west up to Jericho.
The Northern part of the West bank is the biggest, which is composed of Nablus city (the biggest in the West Bank), Tulkarm city, and Jenin City. This area is also cut off with scattered small settlements but not that effective to prevent uniting these three cities, however, the three cities of the north are completely cut off each others by a “coherent” set of tens of permanent checkpoints and a number of overlooking strategic settlements.
That was in 1997 were the number of the settlers was less than 200,000… but now (as there are more than 500,000 settlers, and a system of over 300 settlements that controls the West Bank totally and coherently) the situation is so complicated that I cant see any hope for any kind of (”Palestinian State”) but tens of concentration camps!!
However,
Jenin-stan (the capital of “terrorism”) is being modernized and this is not a success for one person of Dayton nor the United States Security Coordinators Team USSC which includes the Britishs, the Canadians and the Turks . It’s been three years being prepared to in coordination with the Israelis (who were suspicious at first), the Jordanians, the PNA… and of course all (except the Israelis) are lead by Mr. Dayton.
Jenin is the only area, along with parts of Nablus and Tulkarm, that might witness a kind of a Palestinian autonomy, that now it is cut off the world by the segregation wall from north and west, the Jordan Valley from the East and the fixed Israeli checkpoints from the south. In this area, there are a few settlements like Maboa-Dothan, Rehan and other tiny ones and all are at the peripheries of the Jenin district…
The businessmen have their connection to the authorities (and they have their sixth sense following profit) and in a way, they know that the future Palestinian “State” (pantoston, autonomy, or whatever) will be in Jenin area… Is Mr. Dayton preparing that? As I know, “Historic Israel” which is Samaria and Judea starting from Nablus Area (Yetzhar settlemet) up to Araad in the south, is already taken by the settlers and it would be next to impossible to establish but Palestinian pantostons there!!
It’s been almost a year now and the business is heading to Jenin… all kind of investment is being prepared to (actually done) there… businessmen from Hebron, Ramallah, Nablus, Jericho are roaming the area for buying real-estate, land-properties and other infrastructure for their business…. and even there are businessmen who buy only real-estate en masse or land-properties in all the area of Jenin!!
Other significant event is: consecutive and condensed visits done by the Jordanian intelligence agents (in coordination with the Israelis of course) and meeting the prominent “families” in home visits (to revive the “the Jordanian option”? or to revive the feudal division of families? ) I dont know… but there are lots of things being done in Jenin area for something in “their minds” (لغاية في نفس يعقوب) and we are preparing to have our Democratic Republic State of Jenin…. and for sure, the businessmen (including the corrupted PA “ministers”) are the first to know and to take “part of, if not all” the cake along with their Israeli peers!!
And still talking of the “two states” solution, and freezing the settlements? The settlers are already taking all of the West Bank, except our “Great” JeninStan!!!
For me, the “one-state” solution is the only possible and human solution as we are already ten years beyond that two-state solution, otherwise, we are heading blindly and rapidly toward the next Bosnia in the West Bank !!!

Dear Sami,
As we all know that the settlements are big issue and Israel need to stop this activity and make room for border agreement that respect the Palestinian needs, there is something very positive with Palestinian independence and capacity to set rule.
We need to have a two state stage, so the Israelis will be able to flex their identity and realize that they are part of the middle east and the Palestinians need to develop capacity to manage a self modern national palestinian state. we need a generation or two of moderation to be able and create a united state system of the one human tissue we all are.
Dear Mr. Bar-On,
Peace cant be made vitually, nor I would be able to reply yes while you are putting you foot in my mouth and suffocating me from speaking (like in mepeace.org) and giving me a military notice of demolishing my home and building new settlemets on my confecated land, at the time your settlers are uprooting my olive-trees to build settlements and hatred instead. “The Two State Solution”? OK, I agree, but how could it be while you are doubling the settlers’ number every couple of years? Are you “the israeli government” really working toward this solution or just faking peace to gain more time and put more facts on the ground of settlements and broad hiways that deter any opportunity for any kind of peaceful settlement?
Neri, you have been so kind all the time… please try to see the facts on the ground… Oslo has been a fake “peace” process, and peace couldnt be achieved with the Labour party government ten years ago while still there was room for a lind of Palestinian state… but now?… with Netanyahu and Leiberman? and after all the giant settlement projects that have been done?
How in heaven’s sake I can believe that there is an Israelis peace-partner after they have rejected peace and said that Palestinians are Irrelevant; once it was “the Terrorist Arafat” and now “the weak Abu-Mazin”…. if the Palestinians are irrelevant who would they make peace with. the Somalians? The Israeli government doesnt want peace but more and more settlements to have all of Palestine in preperation for the next Bosnia or the next Nakba when there is an international conditions that allow them to complete there zionist project!!!
Give me hope on the ground Neri, but not faking peace to normalize and take more land and plant more settlers… Israel doesnt want to see Palestinian partners, they only want to have a Palestinian “government of collaborators… and peace cant be done with collaborators!!!
When the “two-States” solution is gonna happen? after the zionist project is complete of planting another two million settlers in our promised state? Are the Israelis building trust by building more and more settlemets and demolishing more and more Palestinian houses? How can the “two-states” solution be done while the facts on the ground done by the Israelis eating the Palestinian land everyday? Where would the Palestinian state be established after taking all the land, in Jordan? in Iraq or in Somalia? How can you talk of the “two-states” solution while you are annihilizing any opportunity for that?
Open you eyes wide Neri and get out of your virtual room to see where have we reached now, WE ARE ALREADY TEN YEARS POST THE “TWO STATES” SOLUTION and thanks to Mr. Dayton, the Israeli settlers and our corrupt “government” bunch of Mafia!!!
Israel craeted SLA (South Lebnon Army) in Lebanon, and they can creat MPPF (Middle Palestine Police Force) which is lead by Mr. Dayton of cource, but they will run away just like the SLA flew with the last Israeli soldier on the Lebanese land, or like what happened in gaza, to give you a fresh example…. You cant double the suppression of occupation with local (bloody) police forces lead by the Americans, it will not work dear, as it didnt work nowere. Peace? What peace? the Economic “peace” of Mr. Netanyaho and Leiberman that they are preparing for in JeninStan? What peace? the peace with the double military oppression of two armies with guns against the already oppressed civilians? You cant oppress a whole people and ask for peace, the core problem is occupation, and the problem here is that the israeli occupation is annihilizing the natives completely!!!
All the best dear Neri

Dear Sami.
I never put any foot in your mouth and I am sad that you think I did, when you published in mepeace I always welcomed you and discuss my views. we do not have to agree you know, we should share experience and thoughts and avoid blame.
I do think that the settlers are enemies of peace and this action create a lot of damage. I think I know that the internal Israeli politics and the conflict strengthening this activity but I see now with Obama call for two state stage, and with productive work as done by Dayton the Palestinian position is improve and we can together work a plan to stop the settlements.
even if your goal is a one state solution, you can recognize that Israel and Palestine need condition for change for stop killing each other. this is why we must enable a two state stage, and Dayton work to create palestinian security capacity is so important.
Oslo was a stage in the process that created the PA entity, this entity is “fake” in term that it was not a Palestinian decision and Fatah leaders thought that they have the position to sign an agreement with Israel and get the “ownership” over the Palestinian people. so it was a step with a price that the Palestinian people pay. The agreement could not hold as it proved because the people did not accepted it as the 2nd intifada proved.
The reason that we have Israeli partners and Palestinian partners is because we share human nature. this nature hold the aggressors among us, and the productive and wise among us. we need a pragmatic cooperation for creating the condition of change, and not blame game that is base on the lack of trust we have.
At the moment the goal need to be “borders” for Palestine, which mean that Israel halt is settlement project and give back territory captured by settlers and by “security” reason. this must be done in the Israeli side, but the Palestinian need also to take decision, will they fight for one Arab state or accept Israeli existence? The Israelis will not disappear and the Palestinians in any case must start building capacity for self-rule.
So building capacity is important element in the next stage, and the palestinian need to find a formula that will enable Hamas, Fatah & other Palestinian group to work together and establish state aside Israel.
The end of the aggression can lead to more flexibility in Israel and in Palestine, then next generations will be able to create better relationship and better sharing of this land and see that we all have one future.
If I was you, I would support such initiatives, because our future must be collaboration.
Dear Neri,
Sorry, I didnt mean you in person. I felt and still feel that you are the nicest person in mepeace, who is really willing and working for peace… you didnt hurt me in mepeace but I know I was the scapegoat in a decisive time for the moderators to set rules and examine them one me….
Some times we hold back thru a bad experience and even we become hostile which is the case with me in mepeace that gave me a bad experience that I am still havent “stepped out” of it… i dont hate any there but when you feel suffocated you become more hostile and retreat back….
Again Neri, I tell you that I am really just a simple person of the street who face it everyday. I dont belong to no faction nor any ideology but to my beloved street…. some times I feel bad for overreacting in mepeace under different names, but I got to tell that there is another version of the suppressed people who… I dont want to say more dear…
All the best
Sami, the bedouin.
