That you LOVE everyone you don't despise. That you wish the very best to those you don't wish the very worst. That really doesn't sound like much of a courageous leap to me, though it sounds like you were feeling pretty noble as you typed that. It reminds me of a friend's negotiations with her brother as they divided their father's estate. She offered him, with dramatic loving generosity, everything she didn't want. And she felt just GREAT about herself as she did this. So generous! Who could ever say she was selfish when there was SO MUCH she was giving? She just gave and gave and gave (all the stuff she didn't want)! Those things she did want, naturally, she was utterly unyielding about. She bared her teeth and hissed. Threatened lawyers. Complete psycho. Humanity. Sigh. Sami, so you’re saying that you are firmly NOT against those who you happen to not be against. That you LOVE everyone you don’t despise.
