We are looking to create the next generation of African Leaders. We are now recruiting students in Sudan, Libya and Tunisia. This is the first time that we are actively recruiting in these countries. Please visit our website at http://www.africanleadershipacademy.org. I was appalled at the sheer discrimination of the whole unfortunate event. I find it enraging how they so casually asked you the question.....like they're inquiring about the time of day. Surely it was hard for you to recount such an experience with us, for your courage I am grateful. I want to congratulate you that you are now happily working. I know people say this a lot, but sincerely in this situation it is definitely THEIR loss. They lost a treasure of information and experience. Thank you for sharing this story with us. And always have a voice, no one can ever take that away.-Garf

Nader,

Your article really touched me. I think it's good to face the reality, and move on from there :)
I'm really happy for you, it's so true that when a door closes, another opens:)best wishes and keep speaking up against injustice!:)Kizzie

Nader,

I totally agree with you, the world is unjust and as soon as we realize that and accept it, we make a conscious decision to move on and we take serious action. They flatter me but also encourage me to move on.We live in a cruel, unjust world. This leaves us with one choice: To strive, fight and never experience the word surrender.Right now im working in a wonderful company, and I even have two jobs! Those who unjustly rejected me have lost me, and regret belongs only to them.I thank you. Remember to move on.Nader

Kizzie, thank you for your warm-hearted comments. I don't know what to say , anything I say right right is going to be inappropriate. I was never in your shoes, so no, I don't know how you feel. I can't relate to this experience, but I've experience injustice. So part of me feels "qualified( yes I'm being cynical!) to share a few words with you. I'm gonna say the expected, keep trying and never give up, because you shouldn't give up. You are talented and smart, your country needs people like that. All countries need such citizens.
I think this system they were referring to is affirmative action. If that's what it is called in Lebanon. I'm sue it benefits some people, but it really did disadvantage you. Even if it supports members of a disadvantaged minority group (or whatever), it still divides up the society. Don't you think? I hope this triggers a good debate in the Lebanese society about what should be done in the near future.I'm really sorry again, your talents are never gonna go to waste:)best wishes!

Dear super-intelligent, well-educated and talented honor student.

Your story broke my heart, I feel awkward writing this comment.
