Did Naji Al-Ali fear death? Did it move him away from his art? And if he dies, will we forget him?
Art is a path charged with risks and dangers. Undoubtedly, when I mention this statement I shall face wide opposition voices saying that art is the path to money, fame and beauty.
My dear reader, Naji Al-Ali, who is beyond description, is among the magnificent artists who adopted art as a way for resistance, freedom fighting, preserving the truth and unveiling the unseen.
You wonder about these statements that I wish to express in bringing the truth to existence, reveling the truth and unveiling the hidden.
The enumeration carefully begins…I received a new death threat on 17/12/2009 if I make any statements during the press conference I had about my work.
The sequence of events goes as follows:
1. An Israeli actor and producer, used death threats against me, lured me with money, and forced me to emigrate and was responsible for my leaving Palestine .
2. I was exposed to physical abuse on several occasions under the hands of many people who sold themselves for cheap in order to implement the ambitions of that person and force me to leave. They were supported by law enforcers who pushed me to give up my rights at the police station.
3. He tried to buy me and asked me to remain silent. He did the impossible to keep me away from the stage. My existence was a source of danger on ensuring the confidentiality of expelling young men and brainwashing them by promising them fame.
4. The forbidden is used and mouths are muffled. Money that the theatre receives from donors is being used as a tool to buy young men and women.
5. Inciting obscenity and attacking religion. He used to tell me time and again: “practice profanity when you are on the stage so that you can live them moment of anger and reveal your talents…drink alcohol to open your mind and free yourself into the world of imagination and creativity…Hashish is the ideal drug to raise man to the highest degree of creativity.
6. Taking advantage of contacts… he made me host security forces.
7. He harassed me in every way. He paid money for people to beat me up and threaten me, to the point of attempting to kill me.
8. On 17/12/2009, I received the last threat letter threatening to kill me after the interview if I revealed any serious information.
All this and much more…I shall publish the story later on…carefully…because at the moment I am facing a lot of pressure and threats to remain silent.

And the “benevolent” doners still put the money in the zionist hands to initiate devastative programs in all aspects of the Palestinian life, to start “cooperating” programs that aims solely to normalize, to spoil the Palestinian youth and use them as a bridge to both the Arab and the Western countries through “humanitarian”, “peace”, “green” (theater, cinema, nature, peace, human rights, bedouin heritage… and all what you can dream of) projects … while in fact they are devastating the Palestinian society and paving the way to the rule of settlers !!! Corruption has penetrated the bones but still, change can never come before the critical irreversible point, when everything is revealed and the smell is killing…
I cant wait to hear the story, the real story this time of a true person who reached to the point to be threatened of death…
I believe every word you say Haroon… I live amongst the rubbish and knoew their “projects” directed directly by the intelligence agencies ( all intelligence agencies including, arab, zionist and the west)… the story is unbelievable here… I mean the real story of the simple people who face it in its craziest way !!
Sami, the bedouin.
