Mideast Tunes: All Creativity… All the time!
Mideast Youth has proudly launched Mideast Tunes this morning – in other words, music for social change!
Music is a powerful form of expression and is currently underrated, although it can be used in activism. Meanwhile, Free speech can be magnified through music. And this is exactly what inspired us with Mideast Tunes.
Mideast Tunes, which comes with its official blog, is a new tool which will enable us to mix original music with our causes, and serve thousands around the world who’re searching for pure creativity. It’s the message of music, which is, other than writing, will help to spread our message of free speech.
The project, at which you can browse bands by genre or country, is the first in the region, as always. Our mission is that we want to create an interactive community of all kinds of regional musicians, which we felt was previously lacking, but not anymore with Mideast Tunes!

Mideast Tunes: Music for Social Change!
There’s a lot of underground talents in the Middle East which need to be discovered, and Mideast Tunes will try to help those original, yet underrated, talents by forwarding their music language to the world. Because these talented young musicians work hard producing their music, and they deserve all the support and publicity they can get!
Mideast Tunes will act as a great platform to encourage, inspire, and expose talented young artists across the Middle East and North Africa. And we’re sure that it’d prove essential by time.
The website, which enables users to submit bands if they’re not already covered on the website, will cover a wide range of genres, like Fusion, Electric, Hip-Hop, Rap, Experimental, Psychedelic, Jazz, Rock and Metal.
Our musician friends in the Middle East are struggling to be heard, and this site is dedicated to every artist out there.
The project, at which we worked hardly for the last 3 months to launch in time, doesn’t lack media coverage, as the CNN has talked about us.
Coming soon too, we’ll add an iPhone application! So that people abroad can also be exposed to this and understand the struggles faced in the region from the perspective of the youth.
Now you can join Mideast Tunes page on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and connect with us on MySpace official Mideast Tunes page.

thank you so fucking much ya Israa
a guy with the name Ahmad Zidan and claiming to be a part of the Mideast Youth network is stirring a war on Facebook by creating a group in which he curse Allah and Islam in the most disgusting manner……his personality was exposed today in many groups and his affiliation with your network is now exposed……..speak the fuck up or take off your fucking mask and stand by him through the hell which will open its gate on him and whoever is standing by him in the next few days
etfoooooooooooooooooooo
Waleed,
No one knows what you’re talking about. Please give us a link. I can assure you however that Mideast Youth does not encourage or stand by this kind of behavior. I am a Muslim myself and so are more than half of our members.

Ahmed has nothing to do with that group and with what he is being accused of, neither is Mideast Youth. Such stories and fabrications are contributed to the net by failures who thrive on such fantasies. Do not believe everything you read on the internet, dear Waleed. These rumors are not new to us or to the Arab blogosphere, and we must not feed the trolls by spreading this false information around like a disease.
Waleed, these are nothing but rumors, we can confirm Ahmed had nothing to do with the group you speak of. Please do not bring these rumors into this respectful forum. This post is about Mideast Tunes, and you are welcomed to comment on this subject.
Waleed, I’m not the creator of the group or the page! And stop accusing me of bullshit! I really really have enough!
i doubt it….but at the very least i am pretty sure you do know who is the creator
….if he is not the guy you see in the mirror everyday then he must be one your comrades in el7ad network
Believe me there’s no Atheism Network. And stop laughing like this!
And read the same website, which spread the rumor, is making now a statement that the whole crap was nothing but a false rumor!

brilliant!!!!!
I condemn WALEED and his ugly and anti-islam antics!!
congrats
I find it stupid for Waleed to think of himself as a Muslim because he apparently uses FaceBook and enjoys using the word “fuck”.
I suggest you start living in a cave and get rid of your car, phone, and jeans you probably think you look sexy in.
MESSAGE TO ALL: DO NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ. Be wise enough to filter out the B.S. like Waleed’s.
This MidEast music community has nothing to do with religion, I think of it as a melting-pot which disolves all these religious differences we are suffering from. And if anyone is against that, then take your B.S. elsewhere like to the warzone in Iraq or soon-to-be Iran.

I AM IN LOVE WITH THE MOTTO “MUSIC FOR SOCIAL CHANGE” and THAT IS AT THE TOP OF OUR PRIORITY!
