It fosters a false sense of entitlement, ethnic chauvinism, inequality, and encourages sloth and laziness. For example, a rich Saudi family will not hire a poor Saudi woman to be their maid, because of ethnic pride, but will hire a foreigner to be the maid. So the poor woman who wants to work to earn money is left jobless and dependent on others. The economy cannot be like this forever. I know a well-to-do individual in Dubai who refuses to hire a foreign servant; she manages the house and shopping herself.
